The Karaganda Folk Composers Club invites everyone to the "Let's Remember" concert dedicated to their hometown on February 16 at 12:00. The compositions will be performed by the authors.

Karaganda residents and guests of the city are waiting for them in the choir class at the Palace of Culture. Admission is free.

The Folk Composers Club was founded in 1975. It includes amateur singers, musicians and composers from the cities of Karaganda, Abay, the villages of Topar, Zharyk, Molodezhny, Doskei and other villages. The current head of the club is Tatyana Povernikova. He is a vocalist, choirmaster, and author of the compositions "Astana", "Dochenka", "Repression" and others.

The Karaganda Folk Composers Club is also known for publishing a collection of patriotic songs "Tugan elim - tiregim" in 2021, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It includes songs about Saryarka.

This year, the city of Karaganda turns 91.
