"Clean Kazakhstan": Karaganda youth discuss environmental challenges

The implementation of the “Clean Kazakhstan” environmental program continues in the region. With the support of the city administration, a “Protect Nature” meeting dedicated to nature and ecology issues was held at the community center of the Karaganda Youth Resource Center. It brings together about 30 participants, including students, activists, representatives of environmental organizations and people who are not indifferent to the future of our planet.
The speakers touched upon topical environmental problems, the impact of human activity on nature, modern initiatives to protect the environment, and also spoke about the role of young people in these processes.
City maslikhat deputy and eco-activist Vasily Klimakov spoke about state initiatives in the field of ecology, environmental protection measures, and opportunities for public participation in solving environmental problems.
Biologist-teacher Denis Sirman shared his scientific view on climate change and the importance of sustainable use of natural resources.
Future ecologist Madina Asetovna spoke about the volunteer movement, the participation of young people in eco-actions, and how each of us can help improve the environmental situation.
The meeting became a platform not only for discussing global environmental issues, but also for exchanging ideas. Participants asked questions to experts, shared their suggestions, and developed joint projects on environmental protection.
Special attention was paid to practical steps that young people can take to protect the environment. Specific environmental actions were discussed, in which all interested parties can participate.
