In the Turkestan region, work will be intensified this year within the framework of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program initiated by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. More specifically, 7,263 daily clean-up events have been approved in the region. According to the plan, clean-up events will be held in about 40 settlements every day, and about 200 settlements will be covered with complete cleaning work per week. In addition, the events will be divided into 9 large-scale themes. The "Exemplary Village" and "Zhomart Tulek" competitions will be held throughout the region, and the best settlements will be determined.
The meeting, chaired by the Governor of the Turkestan region, Nuralkhan Kusherov, reviewed the work carried out within the framework of the program and future plans. Ruslan Muzdybekov, Head of the Regional Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services, reported on the work to be carried out within the framework of the program. According to him, priority will be given to ensuring the cleanliness of territories, landscaping, maintenance of facades of facilities, streetlights and fountains, repair of road signs, and repair of roads. Attention will also be paid to the cleanliness of education, healthcare, culture, sports, and religious facilities. In addition to residents, entrepreneurs will be involved in these works.
According to the instructions of the Governor of the Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov, within the framework of the program, work will be organized to improve the territories of more than 210 thousand business facilities, including about 4 thousand medium-sized enterprises.
In his Address, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid special attention to the issue of nature protection and improving the ecology and instructed to create a green belt throughout the country. At the same time, an initiative is being taken to plant 1 million trees along roads of republican significance. Trees will be placed in stages along 691 kilometers of roads of republican significance. To ensure the care of the trees, well drilling is being carried out, a drip irrigation system and special fences are being installed. The project involves the involvement of Kazatomprom, KTZ, KEGOC, Inkai and other large enterprises in the region. In addition, this year, more than 1.2 million trees are planned to be planted for landscaping settlements.
The regional akim instructed responsible persons to systematize the collection and transportation of household solid waste in settlements, monitor the frequency of garbage collection and the quality of service.
- The "Clean Kazakhstan" program is being implemented in our country. The instructions of the Head of State must be fulfilled on time and with high quality. The work of district and city akims will now also be evaluated by the implementation of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program. The landscaping, landscaping and cleaning work carried out in some districts and cities is not at the proper level. There are also akimats that have not made appropriate changes to the charters of state utility companies that carry out cleaning work. We need to raise awareness of the environment and cleanliness among residents by conducting appropriate work, form an ecological culture, and increase the responsibility of residents and young people for cleanliness. The head of the region noted that "Kazpost", "Kazakhtelecom", banks and other public service institutions in the region are obliged to keep their buildings and grounds clean, without neglecting the implementation of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program.
Currently, the akimat of the Turkestan region is undertaking work to carry out sanitary cleaning work in district centers and rural settlements by establishing a state utility institution under the local executive body. Within the framework of the program, work has begun to purchase 407 special equipment for sanitary work and improvement work. The action plans of the districts, cities and departments are approved, and the ratings of the akims are being compiled.
It should be noted that last year, 1,440 clean-up drives were held, and more than 300,000 people and more than 1,500 pieces of equipment were involved in these works. As a result, 3,400 tons of garbage were removed and 1.1 million trees were planted. In addition, 120 apartment buildings were renovated and 83 pieces of special equipment were purchased. As a result of the work carried out by the district and city akimats together with the Police Department to ensure cleanliness and order in public places, 26,702 protocols were drawn up against persons who violated the law, and a total of 318.5 million tenge was fined. As a result of monitoring work, 2,880 garbage dumps were identified and cleaning work was carried out in a short time. Illegal garbage dumps were identified and cleaned up in 367 places through the "Space Trip" space monitoring.
Today, about a thousand applications have been received on the TazaQazBot platform. Of these, 988 applications have been implemented, while the rest are in the process of implementation. As a result of systematic work, the practical use of this system in the Turkestan region has become the first in the republic.
