Academician Karimbek Kurmanaliyev was awarded the "Algyskhaty" and "Altyn Barys" badges of the Head of State
At a meeting of the Ministry's board, the Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek presented Academician Karimbek Kurmanaliyev with the "Algyskhaty" and "Altyn Barys" badges of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Karimbek Arystanbekovich Kurmanaliyev is an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Philology, and a member of the National Congress under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He holds a chair in leading universities of the country, such as the Abylai Khan University of International Relations, the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, the L. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and Kainar University He served as head, dean, vice-rector and rector. The scientist has published about 200 scientific articles. He is the author of 4 textbooks, 6 monographs and 15 educational, teaching and methodological aids for higher education institutions.
Currently, as the vice-president of the National Academy of Natural Sciences of Kazakhstan, he is implementing the norms of the Law "On Science and New Technological Policy".
His meritorious work has been appreciated by the state and awarded with the orders "Parasat", "Kurmet" and several state medals, as well as the badges of the Ministry "For Contribution to the Development of Science" and "Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
