APARTMENT CERTIFICATES WERE PRESENTED TO 17 YOUNG SCIENTISTS BY THE PRESIDENT'S INSTRUCTION
On February 7, at an expanded board meeting of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the instructions of the Head of State, the Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek solemnly presented apartment certificates to 17 young scientists.
In order to fulfill the instructions given by the President at his meeting with young scientists at the "Gylym Orda" on May 31, 2024, to raise and support the social status of scientists, as well as to encourage the entry of young personnel into science, the Commission has determined the next list of young scientists from scientific organizations subordinate to state bodies, higher and postgraduate education organizations for housing in Almaty.
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been working on the formation of a list of young scientists (up to 40 years old inclusive) in need of housing since May 2024. About 300 applications were received from subordinate scientific organizations and universities to state bodies located in Almaty.
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carrying out this work in stages. An increase in the number of young scientists will have a positive impact on the development of science, the commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities, as well as the creation of new economic clusters.
It should be noted that, on the instructions of the Head of State, 25 young scientists received housing certificates last year. In addition, on October 19, 2023, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Otbasy Bank JSC on cooperation on a preferential lending program for young scientists for 2023-2027. Currently, 290 young scientists have received preferential housing under this program.
