SCIENTISTS OF AHMET YASAUI UNIVERSITY LAUNCHED A SOLAR POWER PLANT
Scientists of Ahmet Yasaui University launched a solar power plant with a total capacity of 30 kW on the campus of the university in order to develop green energy and sustainable development. This plant was created within the framework of the grant project "Development of research and engineering activities of students based on the implementation of STEM projects in the field of solar energy." The project is also expected to bring great benefits to the students' educational and practical work.
The solar power plant will make a significant contribution to the process of training future specialists in engineering and technical fields. Students will conduct educational and research work, such as measuring the performance of solar panels, studying the effect of the insolation angle, and analyzing the effects of heat and dust. In addition, students are given the opportunity to organize design and laboratory work by optimizing the location of panels, using efficient converters, integrating storage systems, and introducing solar energy into physics, engineering, and ecology classes. In addition, they are trained to conduct economic and environmental analysis and work with digital control systems.
Young researchers can use the SolarMan SMART platform to monitor and control the operation of a solar power plant. This system allows you to monitor the performance of the inverter online, analyze data, identify faults, and remotely control it. Through the SolarMan SMART server, you can get detailed information about real-time performance, the amount of energy produced and consumed, and the efficiency of the system.
One of the main advantages of a solar power plant is to increase the energy independence of the campus and use environmentally friendly energy sources. Such projects contribute to the development of students' research skills, the connection of theoretical knowledge with real practical application, and an understanding of the importance of renewable energy sources.
Scientists from Akhmet Yassawi University believe that this project will be a bright example of introducing the principles of green energy and sustainable development in higher education institutions in the country.
