STUDY IN KAZAKHSTAN EXHIBITION CONTINUES IN SHYMKENT
Today, the Study in Kazakhstan exhibition continued at the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University in the third metropolis of Shymkent. 20 branches of the world's leading universities in Kazakhstan are participating in the exhibition, which provides an opportunity for Kazakhstani youth to get an education. About 4 thousand students of grades 9-11 took part in the event, including graduates from the city of Kyzylorda.
Advisor to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ruslan Emelbayev, teacher-vocational counselor Aidos Zhumanazar, who participated in the exhibition, explained the importance of today's large-scale event to applicants and offered their advice on choosing a specialty.
"In Kazakhstan, branches of 23 foreign educational institutions were opened on the basis of strategic partnerships with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in 2022-2024. This is a great opportunity for our youth. That is, now they can receive international education without leaving Kazakhstan, and most importantly, they can do it on the basis of a state grant. The branches prioritize training specialists in the fields of IT and artificial intelligence that are needed by the market. Work in this direction is ongoing. For example, this year, a branch of the Seoul National University of Science and Technology will begin operating under the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University,” Ruslan Toktarbekuly said in his speech.
Karlygash Borankulova, a representative of the branch of the Chinese University at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, who participated in the fair, noted that applicants were very interested in the educational institution. “Graduates are asking about the Chinese University and its opportunities, educational requirements, and we have noticed that there is a high demand for specialties in the field of information technology,” she shared her opinion.
Graduates are closely familiarizing themselves with the information they need, such as the educational features of each branch of a foreign university, the dual diploma system.
The UNT exam is coming up, and the time for applicants to choose their specialties is approaching. The Study in Kazakhstan fair is an ideal platform for this.
Dear young applicants, you have the opportunity to come with your parents and get the latest information and necessary information! The exhibition will continue at Auezov University until February 7.
