Agreement on exchange of students between Kazakhstan and Georgia was signed
Today, within the framework of the official visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze to the Republic of Kazakhstan, an agreement on cooperation in the field of higher and postgraduate education and science was signed between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia. This agreement provides for a balanced exchange of 5 students in bachelor's, master's and PhD doctoral programs.
Starting this year, citizens of Kazakhstan have the opportunity to study in Georgia for free and receive scholarships.
During the meeting of the ministers of the two countries, the prospects for bilateral cooperation, expansion of academic mobility, scientific internships and an increase in the number of foreign students were discussed.
Minister Sayasat Nurbek noted the importance of training Georgian specialists in higher education institutions of Kazakhstan and their ability to make a significant contribution to the development of the scientific potential of our country
Minister Alexander Tsuladze spoke about the latest trends in the development of higher education and noted the importance of developing joint scientific cooperation. In addition, Minister Tsuladze invited Sayasat Nurbek to Georgia in the near future and offered to familiarize himself with the activities of the new Kutaisi International State University.
At the end of the official meeting, the ministers expressed confidence in the successful development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia in the field of higher and postgraduate education and science. They noted that the signed agreement will create new opportunities for students and scientists of the two countries for the further development of education and science.
