Short-term fluctuations in profitability are possible due to the volatility of foreign exchange rates, changes in the market value of financial instruments, as well as the impact of inflation. In such conditions, diversification of the investment portfolio plays a key role: profit from some instruments compensates for temporary losses on others, which ensures the safety and stable profitability of pension savings in the long term. Thus, investment income in dynamics over the last 3 years shows stable growth, the return on pension assets outpaces the inflation rate. The investment areas of ECPC as of June 1, 2025 are as follows: government securities of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan - 89.77%, repo transactions - 7.21%, deposits of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan - 2.74%. How to act correctly in case of an insurance event under CASCO? 22.07.2025
CASCO is a form of voluntary car insurance that helps an owner protect his vehicle from a number of risks: theft, accidents (including cases due to the fault of the driver himself), natural disasters, fires and other unforeseen circumstances.Unlike compulsory civil liability insurance (CLI), which covers damage caused to others, CASCO compensates for losses incurred by the insured's vehicle itself. If an insurance event occurs, such as an accident, theft, damage from elements, it is necessary to immediately record the incident. Depending on the situation, you should call relevant services: police, rescuers, fire department or ambulance. Then you need to inform your insurance company as soon as possible. Often, the insurer sends an emergency commissioner who helps document the event. To confirm the fact of occurrence of an insurance event, it is necessary to provide a package of documents listed in a CASCO agreement. These may be certificates issued by authorized agencies, photos and videos, as well as other evidence confirming the damage. The provided materials help rule out the possibility of abuse and contribute to an objective study of the application for an insurance payment. How is CASCO payment made? After the insurance event is registered, damage is assessed. If the contract specifies that repair is to be carried out at an authorized service station, opinion on results of the diagnostics must be issued by such service station. If the contract allows for payment based on an independent examination, money is transferred to the car owner. If the car is crucially damaged and cannot be restored, the insurance company pays an amount corresponding to the insurance coverage. In case of a car loan, the money can be transferred to a bank.Sometimes, during repair, additional damage is discovered that was not recorded during the initial inspection. To receive compensation for extra expenses, you must immediately inform the insurance company before the repair is completed.Request must be made in writing with attached photo or video evidence confirming the existence of new damage. If you report additional costs after the repair is completed, compensation may not be approved.Important: it is necessary to closely monitor the repair process and promptly report any changes. What to do in case of disputes? If you do not agree with the amount of compensation or the insurer's decision, you can submit an application for a re-examination.If disagreements persist, you can contact the insurance ombudsman – an independent institution that helps resolve disputes between the client and the insurance company free of charge. External Communications Directoratepress@finreg.kzSource : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/ardfm/press/news/details/1038068?lang=kk
