The concept of renovating the Koksai district in Shymkent is being implemented as planned. On the occasion of Independence Day, the city's mayor Gabit Syzdykbekov handed over the keys to new apartments to 20 families who previously lived at 5 Transport Street and 2 Nurlybayev Street. It is worth noting that since the beginning of the implementation of the Concept, 103 families have been relocated from the district. Residents were placed in improved houses in the Shymkent-City and Turan microdistricts. The number of rooms in the apartments, which were handed over with clean finishing, corresponds to the previous houses and are fully ready for occupancy. The head of the megalopolis congratulated the families on their housewarming and public holiday, wishing them health, prosperity, and success in all their endeavors. It should be noted that within the framework of the Concept, the work on resettling residents and providing them with comfortable housing will continue in stages. Doha, 16 December 2025 — Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Qatar Arman Issagaliyev held a meeting with the Speaker of the Qatari Shura Council, Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim. During the talks, the parties discussed ways to further strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation as an important component of bilateral relations.The Speaker of the Qatari Shura Council gave a positive assessment of the reforms being implemented in the Republic of Kazakhstan under the leadership of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He noted that these reforms contribute to the country’s sustainable development and strengthen its standing at the international level.The sides noted that the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, issued following his state visit to Qatar in 2024 — aimed at expanding economic, trade and investment cooperation, enhancing cultural and humanitarian ties, as well as strengthening political and inter-parliamentary relations — are being implemented in a consistent manner. Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidar Abildabekov made a working trip to the Turkestan region, during which he familiarized himself with the activities of industrial enterprises located in the SEZ "Turan", industrial zones of the region, and also held a meeting with business representatives and exporters.During the trip, the vice-minister visited a number of enterprises implementing large-scale production projects. In SEZ "Turan" Aidar Abildabekov got acquainted with the activities of LLP "Kazakhstan Lihua", which develops a full-cycle textile cluster - from growing cotton to the production of finished products. The project is aimed at the implementation of the tasks of the Head of State on the development of agriculture and the introduction of advanced agricultural technologies. As part of the project, it is planned to create the largest cotton complex in Central Asia on an area of 60 thousand hectares of irrigated land in Otyrar and Aryssky districts, as well as to open more than 1.4 thousand permanent and more than 300 temporary jobs, where it is planned to produce, including export-oriented products.In addition, the vice-minister visited LLP "ER-QAN GROUP", specializing in the production of polyethylene bags in rolls and disposable plastic dishes. At the production site of the Sauran region, Abildabekov got acquainted with the production of industrial refrigerators by UBC Group LLP and the work of Sauran Plast LLP, which produces plastic products. These companies are already exporting their products. Also, the vice-minister visited the new multifunctional complex "Turan mall" and familiarized himself with its work.In the industrial zone of the Ordabasin district, the vice-minister familiarized himself with the projects of Altyn bricks LLP for the production of construction materials and Central Asia aluminum LLP for the production of aluminum products, including those aimed at export.After the visit, an extended meeting was held with exporters and entrepreneurs of the region. More than 100 businessmen took part in the meeting, which took place in the center "Uly Dala Ely". During the meeting, the issues of obtaining CE (Conformite European) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) certificates for the export of children's hygiene products abroad, participation in public procurement, export of furniture to the Republic of Uzbekistan, the creation of a separate electronic queue for exporters at the border with China, the correctness of specifying invoice numbers, barriers to the export of products to the Russian Federation were considered. The UN cultural agency, UNESCO, is preparing to celebrate the first ever World Turkic Language Family Day on Monday, following a decision by UNESCO’s General Conference in Samarkand to establish 15 December as an annual observance.The new commemoration highlights the shared linguistic and cultural heritage of Turkic-speaking peoples and reinforces UNESCO’s wider commitment to multilingualism and cultural diversity.A historic dateThe choice of 15 December is rooted in a landmark moment in linguistic scholarship. Budapest, 11 December 2025 – On the eve of Independence Day, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary organized a roundtable discussion dedicated to the political and economic reforms underway in Kazakhstan and to the country’s overall development agenda.The event brought together representatives of well-known Hungarian media outlets - Mandiner, Eurázsia Center, Daily News, Diplomatic Press Agency, Magyar Nemzet, HVG.hu, About Hungary - as well as experts from leading think tanks, including the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (HIIA), Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC), and the Danube Institute.The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary, Abzal Saparbekuly, delivered a presentation on the large-scale and systemic political and socio-economic reforms currently being implemented in Kazakhstan.
