All-Seeing Camera Catches Failed Drug Courier at a Prison in Kazakhstan's EKR 13.08.2025
All-Seeing Camera Catches Failed Drug Courier at a Prison in Kazakhstan's EKRIn Kazakhstan's East Kazakhstan region (EKR), prison officers and National Guard soldiers thwarted a bold attempt to smuggle drugs into a correctional facility. The main character of this story is a 44-year-old man who arrived at the prison in a friend's car and left in the company of law enforcement officials. The courier, a resident of Ust-Kamenogorsk with a prior conviction for theft, arrived in the Shemonaikha district with a clear goal: to throw bundles of marijuana over the prison fence. He later tried to explain his presence at the prison as a "call of nature," but video footage from surveillance cameras showed otherwise. The most bizarre moment in this story was his arrest. After the man threw the packages over, he rushed to a car, mistakenly thinking it was his own. At that moment, prison staff approached him. The very car he had arrived in then pulled up behind them, which became the final nail in the coffin of his "innocence.""Prison staff work around the clock. We will not give rest to those who try to violate the regime. We will strictly suppress such cases," said Kuanysh Konzhanov, the head of the Correctional Institution No. 18 of the Committee of the Correctional System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.During the arrest, three packages tightly wrapped in tape with a specific herbal smell were found and seized. An examination confirmed that the seized substance was dried marijuana weighing more than 430 grams, or 86 single doses.A pre-trial investigation has been initiated under Article 297, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.Ironically, the man who tried to help the inmates now risks joining their ranks. Prison officers are working to determine who the seized items were intended for. Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/duis-vko/press/news/details/1050264?lang=kk

UNITY AND HARMONY ARE THE STRATEGIC PILLARS OF KAZAKHSTAN'S DEVELOPMENT 13.08.2025
If we look into the history of any country in the world, we clearly see the importance of unity and peace. While states that maintained internal stability achieved new heights of development, countries that allowed discord weakened and faced political and economic crises. That is why harmony and peace in society are not just slogans, but one of the main values that determine the future of the country. Kazakhstan is a country that has made this principle the core of its development strategy since the first days of independence. The main goal of the political direction, from the President to the current leadership, is to turn ethnic, religious and cultural diversity into a factor that unites the country. The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, ethno-cultural associations, public organizations, educational institutions and the media play a major role in this path. In the first years of independence, our country experienced a serious economic crisis and social difficulties. But even during that period, there were no internal conflicts, because society prioritized the common goal - preserving the integrity of the state. This is a wise decision of ours as a nation and evidence of the correct conclusions drawn from the lessons of history. Today, more than 130 ethnic groups and representatives of 18 faiths live in Kazakhstan. The culture, traditions, and language of each of them are an integral part of our national wealth. Only a country that can unite this diversity into one channel can be competitive in the future. The concept of social harmony is not limited to interethnic harmony. It is a responsible attitude of every citizen to the development of the country, respect for the law, and the main principles of justice and mutual respect. For the development of Kazakhstan, it is important for every resident to understand the value of peaceful life and stability. This unity is behind our achievements in education, science, culture, economy, and sports today. Because only in a country where peace reigns, creative ideas and new initiatives are possible. The 21st century is an era of global changes, new technologies, and information flows. This era brings new opportunities as well as new threats to states. Economic crises, environmental problems, information manipulation, and attempts to sow discord on social media - strong unity is needed to withstand all this. The most important thing for Kazakhstan is to maintain internal stability and strengthen public confidence in any situation. This is not only the task of state policy, but also the common task of every Kazakhstani. Unity and peace are the golden pillars of the development and prosperity of the state. By preserving these values today, we can bequeath a peaceful and prosperous Kazakhstan to future generations. If every citizen can cultivate tolerance, respect, and justice, our country will withstand any challenges. The future of Kazakhstan is in our hands. And our most important task is to strengthen our unity and preserve our peace. #МирИСогласие #ЗаМир #МыВместе #PeaceAndHarmony #PeaceForAll #TogetherForPeace #АНК30жил #АНК30лет #APK30years #АНК #ANK
