Thanks to the professionalism and vigilance of a serviceman of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an attempted escape by a convicted inmate was prevented in Karaganda.Private Myrsalim Ryskulov, a serviceman of military unit 6505, was on duty at Post No. 9 guarding Correctional Facility No. 29 when he noticed an inmate attempting to escape. Quickly assessing the situation, he immediately reported the incident to the guard commander via communication channels, sounded the alarm, and fired a warning shot into the air.The guardsman’s prompt and decisive actions were effective — the inmate ceased his escape attempt.
