On August 20, 2025, the Ethics Commissioner of the Ministry, together with the Legal Department, held a seminar on the topic of "Behavior in official relations and outside working hours, activities incompatible with the performance of state functions, anti-corruption prevention."  The event discussed key issues of strengthening official ethics, creating a trusting atmosphere in the team, as well as the importance of the personal example of managers. Particular attention was paid to issues of compliance with labor discipline: strict adherence to the working hours regime, inadmissibility of being late and leaving before the end of the working day, as well as the fact that work outside working hours is possible only with the official permission of the management. In addition, the participants were reminded of the strict ban on smoking in government buildings and non-designated places, which is associated not only with health protection, but also with the image of the civil service. In military unit 5571 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, stationed in Almaty, four pairs of twin brothers are simultaneously serving their conscription—a phenomenon that can rightfully be called unique.Twins in military service are already a rare occurrence, as even one pair drafted together is considered an exceptional coincidence. But for four pairs to end up in the same unit at once is a true phenomenon worthy of entering the history of the National Guard.The first in this extraordinary story are Nurasyl and Yerasyl Zhamalkhan, natives of Turkistan region. Yet fate did not stop there. Along with them came Yerasyl and Nurasyl Uysynbay. Thus, in one unit, there now serve two Yerasyls and two Nurasyls. Commanders admit that sometimes even they find it difficult to distinguish who is who. But the brothers themselves take it with humor—saying that their double resemblance only strengthens their team spirit. Together they go on patrol and safeguard public order on the streets of the metropolis.Yerdaulyet and Bakdaulyet Tulenov from Shymkent are another example of remarkable unity. They are mistaken for each other so often that even in the barracks, fellow soldiers joke: “We don’t have two fighters, we have one in two copies.” Once, a commander gave Yerdaulyet an assignment but took the report from Bakdaulyet without even noticing the switch. Yet in the army, this is more of an advantage: the twins insist that serving together is easier, as they understand each other without words.And finally, the last pair completing this unique quartet are Salman and Magomed Uruzbiev from Zhezkazgan. Their decision to serve together is a story of true brotherly devotion. When Magomed was drafted, his brother Salman decided to join him. The customs post “ICPS Khorgos” carries out systematic work to detect and suppress violations of customs legislation.For the first seven months of 2025, employees of the customs post “ICPS Khorgos” revealed dozens of facts of illegal movement of goods and currency across the border. Individuals tried to smuggle electronic cigarettes, phones and gadgets.The largest detentions were related to undeclared cash. In total, 26 cases were detected during this period, during which more than 343 thousand US dollars were seized.According to court decisions, fines of over 12 million tenge have already been imposed, and another 50 million tenge (the equivalent of almost 94 thousand dollars) has been converted to the state revenue.Cigarettes and equipment were no less popular. About 20 billion tenge has been transferred to parents — 87% of children have already received help with schoolWithin the framework of the Universal Education Fund, about 20 billion tenge has already been transferred to the accounts of parents and legal representatives for the purchase of school uniforms, shoes and accessories. A large-scale environmental campaign was held in Shymkent within the framework of the republican program “Taza Kazakhstan”, initiated by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The event covered all five districts of the city. Participants cleared streets, courtyards and public spaces of garbage and household waste. In the Al-Farabi district, in the Teriskei microdistrict, the courtyards of residential buildings No. 33, 35 and 37 were tidied up. The fact of distribution, storage, offer for sale and sale of automobile parts illegally marked under the trademark "Toyota" and "Lexus", such as air, oil and cabin filters and other parts, has been stopped.Based on the appeal of the company Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha (also trading as Toyota Motor Corporation), the Department of Justice of the North Kazakhstan region conducted an unscheduled inspection of an individual entrepreneur from the city of Petropavlovsk, on the fact of illegal use of the trademark. As a result of the inspection, a batch of counterfeit products in the amount of 34 units with a total value of 270,000 tenge was found.On August 18, the court issued a ruling on administrative liability, a fine of 30 MCI was imposed.
