Astana, April 23, 2025 – Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu held talks with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlić-Radman, as part of his official visit to Kazakhstan.The main topics of discussion included cooperation in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Special attention was given to the forthcoming visit of Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković to Kazakhstan and his participation in the Astana International Forum. In addition, the parties thoroughly discussed the implementation of agreements reached during Nurtleu’s visit to Zagreb in November 2024.“Croatia is one of Kazakhstan’s key partners in the Balkans and the European Union. Economic cooperation is a priority and a major driving force of our bilateral relations,” emphasized the Kazakh Foreign Minister.Last year, the volume of mutual trade reached 282 million US dollars, placing Croatia among Kazakhstan’s top 15 trading partners within the EU.For his part, Grlić-Radman reaffirmed the Croatian Government’s strong commitment to strengthening comprehensive cooperation with Kazakhstan in all areas of mutual interest. В ходе визита казахстанской делегации в Кабул, глава делегации заместитель Премьер-министра – министр национальной экономики Серик Жумангарин передал афганской стороне вторую половину гуманитарной помощи от народа Казахстана народу Афганистана, состоящую из лекарственных средств, а также встретился с заместителем Премьер-министра этой страны Абдулом Гани Барадаром.Казахстан – крупнейший поставщик гуманитарной помощи для Афганистана в ЦАНачиная с 2021 года, Казахстан направил в Афганистан десятки тыс. тонн муки, продовольствия, лекарств, предметов быта и теплой одежды. Более того, в марте этого года в Алматы открылся региональный центр ООН по Целям устойчивого развития для стран Центральной Азии и Афганистана. Как отметил Серик Жумангарин на встрече с Абдулом Гани Барадаром, основная цель создания регионального центра – активизация социально-экономического и делового сотрудничества стран ЦА с Афганистаном. Страны Центральной Азии выразили поддержку казахстанской инициативе. Товарооборот в $3 млрд за счет диверсификации Казахстан входит в десятку основных торговых партнеров Афганистана. Традиционными казахстанскими товарами поставок являются зерно и мука. В 2024 г. отмечен значительный рост экспорта казахстанского сахара на рынок Афганистана – 143 тыс. тонн, что в разы больше чем в 2023 г. (19,1 тыс. тонн). Есть потенциал в наращивании поставок кондитерских и мучных изделий на афганский рынок. Казахстан также заинтересован в поставках ранних афганских овощей на рынки столицы.В конце прошлого года страны подписали дорожную карту по увеличению товарооборота до $3 млрд. Учитывая, что территория Афганистана имеет огромный потенциал по добыче различных полезных ископаемых, достичь заявленных объемов взаимных инвестиций планируется за счет разведки и добычи ресурсов месторождений Афганистана. Есть большой интерес казахстанского бизнеса вкладывать средства в поиск перспективных участков недр. 14 апреля в Афганистан прибыла группа специалистов-геологов, инженеров из Казахстана, которая, при поддержке Министерства горнодобывающей промышленности и нефти Афганистана, посетила ряд месторождений. Как отметил вице-министр промышленности и строительства РК Иран Шархан, специалисты отобрали 130 кг проб руды в провинции Нуристан с потенциальных месторождений с содержанием бериллия, свинца и цинка. Теперь для более детального анализа в лабораториях пробы будут направлены в Казахстан, и, после получения результатов, казахстанская сторона готова приступить к более глубокому формату переговоров для дальнейшей разработки месторождений.Новые торговые дома в Казахстане и АфганистанеДля активизации обозначенных в дорожной карте мероприятий Серик Жумангарин предложил заместителю Премьер-министра Афганистана открыть торговый дом Казахстана в Кабуле. Абдул Гани Барадар поддержал это предложение, отметив, что афганская сторона желала бы открыть свой торговый дом в Казахстане. Также с казахстанской стороны предложено рассмотреть возможность поставки казахстанских автобусов производства ТОО «QazTehna» в случае заинтересованности афганской стороны. Новые торговые дома будут способствовать активизации взаимных инвестиций по разным направлениям сотрудничества. В этот же день Серик Жумангарин встретился с министром связи и информационных технологий Афганистана Наджибуллой Хаккани. Он отметил, что казахстанские компании проявляют интерес к участию в строительстве инфраструктурных и телекоммуникационных проектов в Афганистане. The Akim of Nurlybek Nalibayev has reviewed the ongoing reconstruction efforts for the bridges spanning the Shirkeyli, Zhanadariya, and Syzdyk canals. The general contractor, TOO Zhylu 21, is currently working on the bridge over the Shirkeyli canal, where beams and slabs have been installed, concrete structures are being painted, and the bank supports are being reinforced. A workforce of 20 individuals and 5 pieces of equipment are engaged in this project. Meanwhile, the same contractor is also involved in cleaning, concreting, and leveling the channel of the Syzdyk canal, with 12 workers assigned to this task. Additionally, the reconstruction of the bridge over the Zhanadariya canal is being handled by TOO Best Stroi Grup Engineering, where workers are delivering building materials, pouring concrete, and painting the structure. Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov inspected the progress of repair work on the streets of the regional center. The main focus during the departure was on the pace of work, compliance with deadlines and the quality of coverage.In 2025, 91 streets with a total length of 45 km will be repaired in Kostanay, including three streets that are subject to complete reconstruction. At the FIRST Championship 2025 School Engineering Championship in Houston, USA, two teams from Karaganda showed high results. Karaganda residents became the best in the Core Values Coopertition Winner nomination.50,000 participants from 1,058 teams from 110 countries competed in three age categories and different nominations. Despite the high competition, the Karaganda team Jeltoqsun from the specialized boarding school "Murager" entered the top 20 in the robot game among 258 teams. Rasslexx from the same school became the champion in the Core Values Coopertition Winner nomination.In total, our country was represented by seven teams in Houston. The Kazakh national team has achieved record successes in all three age categories. The results of this level are the first in the history of Kazakhstan. In total, the national team won six awards. The Karaganda region maintains positive dynamics of economic development. Since the beginning of the year, the growth has been almost 13%. Industrial products were produced by 1 088.7 billion tenge, which is 15.1% more than in the same period last year. Growth was achieved in mechanical engineering, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, the production of rubber and plastic products, the construction industry, chemical and light industry, and food production. In the mining industry, volumes increased by 12.7%, and growth was achieved in the extraction of coal and metal ores," said Tatyana Ablaeva, Head of the Economics Department.Over three months, 165 billion tenge of investments were attracted.
