THE NATIONAL CHESS PLAYERS - SHOWED THEIR FIRST FORCE AT THE INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT 24.02.2025
The young chess team from Zhezkazgan participated in the international "Intellect Academy" Cup for the first time and gained practical experience. The chess festival was held in the Russian city of Novokuznetsk, where young chess players from our region aged 7 to 13 took part. The team, consisting of our compatriots, was in 30th place in the overall rating before the tournament, but after nine games it rose to 18th place, showing positive results. Also, Kazakhstan was represented in the competition by chess players from Zhansaya Abdymalik's academy in Almaty. Among 43 teams, the Almaty team did not give up. The second place went to the chess players of Uzbekistan, and the third place went to Cuba. Thus, the Almaty team became the winner for the second year in a row. In 2024, 24,038 objects were inspected by the inspectorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, including 13,324 objects covered by preventive control, and 10,714 objects were inspected unscheduled. Based on the results of the inspections, 24,560 individuals and legal entities were brought to administrative responsibility, including 21,514 in the form of warnings. In 2024, 5,870 objects were suspended from operation across the country due to violation of fire safety requirements. These emergency response measures were taken within the framework of state control and supervision in accordance with Article 38-1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Civil Protection". As a result of unscheduled inspections, 3378 objects were brought into a fire-fighting condition. 541 objects were re-suspended, which indicates the need for further efforts to comply with fire safety requirements. 1682 administrative cases were sent to judicial bodies under Part 3 of Article 462 of the Code of Civil Protection on the facts of failure to comply with the requirements of state inspectors. In his report, the Minister noted that in 2024 the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted more than 1 thousand inspections in the field of industrial safety, more than 27 thousand violations were identified, and 160 people were brought to administrative responsibility. In the first half of this year, 424 inspections are planned. The total number of objects under control exceeds 10 thousand, including more than 217 thousand technical devices. Over the past three years, their number has increased by 20%, while the number of inspectors has remained unchanged - 381 throughout the country. In 2024, it was possible to reduce the number of injuries by 7 times and the number of deaths by 6 times. A total of 21 accidents were registered at hazardous production facilities, which corresponds to the level of last year. The largest number of incidents occurred in the oil and gas and mining industries. "Last year, the Concept of Industrial Safety until 2030 was approved. As part of its implementation, it is planned to revise all regulatory legal acts, strengthen the requirements for ensuring industrial safety, develop science and create relevant centers, as well as increase the human resources potential and legal status of state inspectors, taking into account the digitalization of facilities," the minister said. Currently, individual requirements for industrial safety are being revised. Within the framework of the draft law on civil protection, the requirements for emergency rescue services are being tightened, requirements for production control are being strengthened, and new obligations for owners of hazardous production facilities to update and modernize equipment are provided. In addition, it is planned to launch the "E-KPB" information system, which will allow creating passports of industrial safety facilities, automating accident accounting and other processes. On the instructions of the Head of State, the centralization of territorial divisions and subordinate institutions into a single division, the Department of Emergency Situations, has been completed. Zakusilov Alexander Alexandrovich is 31 years old, a graduate of the Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after Saken Seifullin with a degree in Agronomist. He is the third generation of the Zakusilov dynasty, which reflects his deep connection with agriculture and his family's traditions. Alexander began his career in 2016 as an agronomist at Svobodnoye LLP, one of the largest farms in the Sandyktau district of the Akmola region.
