Today, 13 new buses were put into service in Taraz.
The Golden Dragon buses supplied by the Smart City Service company are equipped with low floors, ramps, 360-degree video surveillance cameras, and passenger flow counting devices.
While public transport is being deployed on routes No. 8 and No. 56, which are operated by the partnership, the 2022 Golden Dragon buses on this route will be transferred to route No. 41 due to the demand of residents. Meanwhile, the Isuzu SAZ LE60 buses on route No. 41 will resume route No. 37 from February 12. The aforementioned route No. 37 will start from the Turksib valley, connecting the settlements connected to the regional center from two districts, and will include Abay, Baitursynov, Lukmanov, Arystan Bab, Syzdykov, D. Bedny, Samarkand, Baluan Sholak, Abay Avenue, Kunayev, Seifullin, B. Momyshuly, Tauke Khan Streets will provide access to the "Dorozhnik" and "Bektobe" valleys.
As part of the general action plan for 2023-2025, it was planned to purchase 200 buses and open 15 additional routes over a period of 3 years. As a result, 73 buses were delivered in 2023, 155 in 2024, and thus a total of 228 buses were delivered, exceeding the planned target.
These works are continuing this year. For example, taking into account the settlements that have entered the city, two new buses were added to routes No. 42 and No. 6. In addition, due to the demand of residents, route No. 62, which connects the "Talas" station and the Talas settlements with the "Aul Bereke" market, began operating. In addition, this year, it is planned to purchase at least 60 buses at the expense of carriers and open 5 additional routes. In addition, work will be carried out to install 75 stops and introduce a voice message system on additional routes.
