Mexico City, May 9, 2025 – The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the United Mexican States took part in a flower-laying ceremony at the monument in honor of the 201st Fighter Squadron – Mexican pilots who fought in World War II. From August 15 to 16, 2025, young voices will be heard in Kostanay again: the international vocal competition "Altyn Microphone", which has become one of the most important cultural platforms in Kazakhstan, will be held here. The founder of the competition is Akimat of Kostanay region. The competition is supported by the Department of Culture. Its organizers, the Regional Center for Amateur Folk Art and the Film Fund, ensure a high level of performance at all stages of the event, from regional to international, consistently confirming its prestige and trust from the professional community.The history of Altyn Microphone began in 2002. Back then, no one could have imagined that a small urban competition for young vocalists would eventually turn into a large-scale international project. Vyacheslav Avdeev, a well—known Kostanay entertainer and conversational artist, whose initiative and enthusiasm became the starting point of a long journey, stood at the origins. The idea was significantly supported by the politician and statesman Valery Vishnichenko, who played an important role in the formation of the competition. Since then, Altyn Microphone has been steadily growing, expanding the geography of participants and professional standards. In 2023, 77 performers from Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine took part.Each competition season is a truly large—scale cultural process. In 2025, the selection began with the regional stage, which took place from April 14 to April 21 in four regions of Kostanay region. 171 vocalists took part in it, of which 68 of the best went to the regional tour. Their performances were evaluated by an authoritative jury, which included leading cultural figures of the region: Gulbana Abdulina — Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Azamat Mukatov — composer and holder of the badge "Madeniyet salasyn uzdigi", Alua Musapirova — laureate of international competitions and teacher of the Rudn Music College, as well as Bekbolat Zhazykpaev — winner of the Grand Prix "Altyn microphone"and the winner of the TV project "X-Factor".Gulbanu Abdulina, who has been heading the jury of the regional stage of the competition for many years, emphasizes that interest in Altyn Microphone is consistently high both inside and outside the country. "Applications are received not only from Kazakhstan, but also from near and far abroad. Over the years, the contest has established itself as an absolutely honest, transparent and truly creative project. Its laureates continue to shine on foreign stages and participate in international projects. This is a competition that shapes stage culture, artistry and responsibility. That is why it is so valuable for teachers and artists," Gulbanu Abdulina notes.The final international stage includes two competitive rounds and will end with a bright gala concert. This year, vocalists from 7 to 23 years old are allowed to participate, divided into four age groups. Each participant performs two works, one of which must be in the Kazakh language — this condition remains unchanged for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan. An important requirement of the competition is the complete exclusion of phonograms and autotune. The only negative is phonograms or live musical accompaniment. This is a principled position of the organizers, which allows not only to maintain a high artistic level, but also to introduce participants to professional stage culture.The performances of the contestants are evaluated according to a set of important criteria. The jury carefully monitors the purity of intonation, the accuracy of the rhythmic pattern, the level of performing skills, and also pays attention to the complexity of the chosen repertoire. Important are artistry, stage culture, and expressiveness, including diction and microphone work. All these elements allow experts to objectively assess the young performer's readiness for the professional stage.The professionalism of the judging staff is an additional guarantee of the quality of the competition. This year, the work of the contestants will be evaluated by craftsmen from Kazakhstan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine. It is from these countries that young talents will come to the competition, which makes Altyn Microphone a truly international platform. Zhenis Seydullauly, composer, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, holder of the Kurmet Order and director of the Republican Variety and Circus College named after Zhusupbek Yelebekov, will once again become the chairman of the jury. Until 2020, this honorable mission was carried out by the legendary composer Kenes Duisekeyev.For more than two decades, Altyn Microphone has been not only educating new generations of vocalists, but also opening doors to professional art for them. Over 20 years, 1,025 participants from different regions of Kazakhstan, as well as from near and far abroad, have participated. Из них: централизованное водоснабжение охватывает 17 сел (18 039 человек, или 74%), еще 16 сел (3 170 человек, 13%) получают воду через пункты с привозной водой, а в 3 селах (3,5%) ПРВ подключены к действующим водопроводам.В селах Новошумное и Лесное продолжаются строительные работы, охватывающие ещё 1 765 человек (7,2%).Поручения Президента также находят своё воплощение в улучшении транспортной инфраструктуры. В 2024 году на 12 участках автодорог районного значения общей протяжённостью 44,15 км проведены средний и текущий ремонт, а также заменены водопропускные трубы. На 2025 год запланированы работы ещё на 115,9 км дорог.В уличной сети 13 населённых пунктов в 2024 году отремонтировано 22 улицы длиной 20,2 км. В 2025 году планируется текущий ремонт 11 улиц в 6 населённых пунктах, протяжённостью 19,7 км.Все эти мероприятия — не просто текущая работа, а реализация поручений главы государства по созданию достойных условий жизни в каждом уголке страны. The incident occurred near the Saltanat Sarayi area, where a young woman suddenly became unwell while walking from a bus stop.She approached the nearby soldiers for help — and they responded immediately. Senior Lieutenant Baglan Tatei, Lieutenant Adilet Muratov, and Private Daniyal Sarsengaliyev swiftly moved her to safety and administered first aid.- When she approached, it was clear she was in serious distress — she was swaying and barely standing. We got her off the road right away to prevent injury. She appeared to be having an epileptic seizure: her hands trembled, and her gaze was unfocused. We laid her on her side, supported her head, and tried to keep her conscious until the ambulance arrived. We kept talking to her the whole time to help her stay with us, — Senior Lieutenant Baglan Tatei shared.According to eyewitnesses, the woman showed signs consistent with an epileptic episode. Batina, Zagreb, May 9, 2025 – The staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Croatia participated in a wreath-laying ceremony and observed a moment of silence to honor the memory of fallen soldiers and victims of fascism at the Memorial to Soviet Soldiers who died in the Battle of Batina, as well as at the Memorial to National Heroes and Partisans at the city cemetery in Zagreb.The memorial complex in the village of Batina is located at the site of a mass grave where the remains of more than two thousand Soviet soldiers and officers are buried. These soldiers gave their lives in the largest World War II battle fought on the territory of Yugoslavia. Over thirty participants in this battle were awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Among them was Hamit Saduov, a native of Karaganda region, who commanded the 22nd Rifle Company of the 315th Rifle Division during the Battle of Batina. On November 19, 1944, his company heroically repelled a fierce fascist assault, destroying 230 enemy soldiers and officers. On May 10, 2025, the international marathon race "Uly Dala Zhorygy", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, started for the first time in the Almaty region.The marathon competition is attended by 13 teams from different regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 6 teams from abroad: Hungary, Iran, the Russian Federation (Tatarstan team), the African team and 2 teams from Kyrgyzstan. The event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Helsinki, May 9, 2025 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azamat Abdraimov laid flowers at the Monument to Soviet Soldiers, which was erected in Hanko in 1960.During his speech, the Kazakh diplomat highlighted the vital role of the Kazakh people in achieving Victory in World War II, emphasizing the courage and heroism of hundreds of thousands of Kazakhstanis who fought on the fronts, as well as the invaluable work of home front workers who made a significant contribution to the overall victory.The remains of 453 officers, soldiers and prisoners of war who died during the Soviet-Finnish War of 1939-1940 and the World War II are buried in a mass grave in Hanko.
