Kazakhstan has developed a rapidly growing startup ecosystem in the field of artificial intelligence. The country is home to more than 100 AI startups, and the volume of venture investments in AI projects increased more than fivefold between 2023 and 2025 – from approximately $14 million to $73 million. As a result, AI now accounts for more than half of all venture investments in Kazakhstan.These figures are presented in the Kazakhstan AI Country Report, the country’s first comprehensive overview of the AI market, covering government strategy, digital and computing infrastructure, human capital, startups, venture investments, and industry use cases of AI implementation. The official presentation of the report took place today at the Astana Hub Event Hall in the capital of Kazakhstan.The study was prepared by the analytical agency RISE Research in partnership with Mastercard and Freedom Bank, with the support of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and GITEX AI Central Asia & Caucasus. The report is based on more than 30 in-depth interviews with practitioners, an analysis of international benchmarks and business models of over 100 Kazakhstani AI startups, as well as 10 practical AI implementation case studies.According to the report, Kazakhstan is entering a new stage of development, moving from digitalization to the large-scale adoption of artificial intelligence. AI is viewed as a key driver of economic growth and a tool for strengthening the country’s international competitiveness. Shipments of animals, products and raw materials of animal origin are transported daily through the territory of Kostanay region and beyond. In order to ensure the protection of the population from diseases common to animals and humans, as well as the food safety of products and raw materials of animal origin, it is important to carry out the transportation process in compliance with the standards established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.According to the order of the Acting Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 29, 2015 No. 7-1/496, animals, products and raw materials of animal origin must be transported through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan accompanied by a veterinary certificate (Form 1 for live animals and Form 2 for livestock products) in compliance with veterinary (veterinary and sanitary) requirements for the regime and the conditions of transportation of the object being moved (transported), provided that the name, the object being moved (transported), and its weight (volume) correspond, the total amount, the markings indicated in the veterinary documents. Programs to provide affordable housing to residents are being systematically implemented in Shymkent. Today, 23 families on the housing waiting list received the keys to rental apartments in the Asar-2 microdistrict. These new homes are being provided from the city's municipal housing stock. The residents include large and single-parent families, people with disabilities, parents raising special children, as well as children left without parental care and orphans. The ceremony of handing over the keys to the apartments was attended by the mayor of the city, Gabit Syzdykbekov. The head of the megalopolis noted that expanding the rental housing stock and providing citizens with housing are among the priorities being implemented in the city. The provision of shelter is being implemented in a planned manner, in compliance with established procedures and legislative requirements. This ensures transparency of the process and equal access to state support. On 19–20 January 2026, a regular meeting of experts on the mutual recognition of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) programs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Türkiye was held in Astana.The work on concluding an Agreement on the mutual recognition of Authorized Economic Operator programs between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Türkiye is being carried out in accordance with the Action Plan between the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye on issues of mutual recognition of Authorized Economic Operator programs, signed by the heads of the customs authorities of the two countries.In accordance with the Action Plan, the measures предусмотренные at the first and second stages have been completed.
