Astana, August 8, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov held a meeting with Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Sulton Rahimzoda. The meeting took place as part of the 19th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, held in Astana.The parties discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation in trade and investment, as well as the implementation of joint projects. Kazakhstan remains one of Tajikistan’s key trade and economic partners: in 2024, bilateral trade turnover reached 1.3 billion US dollars, marking a 7.4% increase. The Heads of State have set the goal of increasing this figure to 2 billion US dollars.During the meeting, Deputy Minister Kuantyrov emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to deepening mutually beneficial ties with Tajikistan in the areas of trade and investment. He noted Kazakhstan’s readiness to increase exports across 85 product categories worth up to 200 million US dollars. Since September 2025, there have been two meeting formats in Kazakhstan. To resolve issues related to the common property of the condominium, the owners of apartments and non-residential premises hold general meetings. The owners of this property vote on the tariff for parking spaces and warehouses. Holding these meetings separately is not prohibited. Accepted meeting formats: * Attendance (through participation) is a form of holding an in–person meeting at the location indicated in the notice. * Correspondence (without participation) – written questionnaire or online voting refers to the correspondence format. The results of voting obtained through the object of informatization in the field of housing relations and housing and communal services are taken into account when summarizing the results of meetings held in turnout and absentee formats. Only owners can participate in voting, and the information system provides a mechanism for confirming (verifying) the owner. That is, before voting, the system must check whether a person is the owner of a specific apartment or non-residential premises. The following persons may initiate the meeting: * Chairman of the association of property owners; * the management entity of the condominium facility; * the house council; * the audit commission (auditor); * at least 10% of the owners of apartments and non-residential premises; * at least 10% of the owners of parking spaces and warehouses; * housing inspection. Today, another cleaning event was organized in the Al-Farabi district as part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" republican environmental campaign. This campaign is part of a large-scale environmental movement in the country, initiated by the Head of State, and aims to form a culture of responsibility for the environment among the population.
