Skopje, July 4, 2025 – Timcho Muсunski, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of North Macedonia, and Satybaldy Burshakov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan, officially opened the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Skopje in a solemn ceremony, performing the traditional cutting of the symbolic ribbon.The event, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, was attended by President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, members of Parliament, representatives of the Government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomatic corps, business, media and the public of North Macedonia.In his speech, Ambassador Burshakov noted the historical significance of this event, which opens up prospects for the qualitative development of cooperation between the two states. There were steady development of political dialogue at the highest and highest levels, dynamic contacts between governments and parliaments, as well as the consistent expansion of cultural and humanitarian exchanges through visits since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1995.The visits of the President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Energy and Economy to Astana in May-June of this year became an important stage.Minister T.Mucunski highly appreciated the decision of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to open the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Skopje, calling it an important step in deepening bilateral relations based on common values and mutual respect. He stressed the progress in political, trade and economic cooperation, as well as mutual support in the international arena.
