Due to sudden weather changes, electricity supply was temporarily cut off in some settlements. Such a natural phenomenon had never occurred in our region before. Issues of road infrastructure development and road safety were discussed 10.03.2026
Today a meeting was held in the conference hall of the district akimat under the chairmanship of District Akim Zhandos Erkinbek.During the meeting, issues related to the development of the road sector and improving the quality of roads were discussed.Last year, 3 billion 503.6 million tenge were allocated for the development of road construction in the district, and as a result more than 23 kilometers of automobile roads were repaired.In addition, emergency situations caused by precipitation, as well as issues related to electricity supply and drinking water systems, were considered. “Pearls of Epic Poetry Strung on the Dombra” 10.03.2026
Today, the regional festival of epic poetry titled “Pearls of Epic Poetry Strung on the Dombra” was held at the District House of Zhyrau in honor of the respected public figure and well-known zhyrau Shamshat Tolepova, who continued the tradition of female epic singers.During the spiritual and cultural event, which brought together performers preserving the zhyrau tradition of the Syr region and upholding the purity of traditional art, the Deputy Akim of the district Dias Moldabayev delivered a congratulatory speech and wished the participants success. He also emphasized the importance of generational continuity in preserving the zhyrau tradition.Shamshat Tolepova, a successor to the legacy of the Syr poets and a devoted supporter of the zhyrau tradition, dedicated her life to her people. Guardsmen Conquer the Moscow Stage on the Program “Privet, Andrey!” 10.03.2026
The Male Choir of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan performed in Moscow on Andrey Malakhov’s evening music show “Privet, Andrey!” on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.The Kazakhstani artists performed the well-known Cossack song “When We Were at War.” The composition was delivered in the powerful and expressive style characteristic of the male choir — with rich polyphony, clear dynamics, and emotional performance. The act was accompanied by stage movement and elements of dance, which added special spectacle to the number and highlighted the ensemble’s artistry.The performance received a warm response from the audience and guests in the studio. The creativity of the Kazakhstani performers was highly praised by Russian singers and participants of the program, including the well-known pop artist Dmitry Malikov.In addition to their musical performance, the guardsmen brought gifts from Kazakhstan to the studio. In the warm and relaxed atmosphere of the show, a humorous moment also occurred: among the treats was a jar of pickles that none of the guests in the studio could open. In the end, the task was successfully handled by a soloist of the National Guard’s Male Choir, which caused lively reactions in the studio and friendly applause from the audience.It should be noted that this year the Male Choir of the National Guard celebrates its first anniversary — 10 years since its foundation. The results of the sketch project competition were summarized in Kostanay, which involved 3rd and 4th-year students of the Kostanay Construction College. The competition aimed to support the creative and professional potential of future specialists in the fields of architecture, construction, and design.Participants were tasked with developing conceptual solutions for real urban spaces. This format allowed students to go beyond the academic curriculum and apply their acquired knowledge in practice by proposing ideas for urban environment development.Projects in several areas were presented as part of the competition. One of them was the creation of an eco-quarter — a concept for improving a site at the intersection of Abay Avenue and Baimagambetov Street. Students proposed options for transforming the area into a modern public space with a square and elements of ecological improvement.Participants also presented developments in the field of smart urbanism. The projects involved creating small architectural forms using modern technologies, as well as navigation systems for more comfortable orientation in the urban environment.A separate area of the competition was dedicated to conceptual ideas for integrating residential complexes with social facilities and implementing environmental solutions into urban infrastructure.The submitted works were evaluated by a jury, which included specialists in urban planning and architecture. In the Denisovsky district, as part of the republican campaign "Snow Landing," volunteers assisted a lonely pensioner, showing care and attention to the older generation.The main goal of the campaign is to support elderly people, fostering a culture of mutual assistance and mercy in society. The initiative also aims to increase youth activity and popularize traditions of respect for the older generation.During the event, active youth from the district visited a pensioner living alone and helped clear snow from her yard and the adjacent area around her house. On 4 March 2026, an event dedicated to discussing the tourism potential of Kazakhstan was held in Seoul with the participation of leading Korean tour operators.During the meeting, presentations were delivered by SCAT Airlines and on Kazakhstan’s tourism destinations. In particular, Mr. Andrey Tsygankov, representative of SCAT Airlines, spoke about the airline’s plans to expand the number of flights to South Korea.In his welcoming remarks, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Korea Nurgali Arystanov highlighted the growing interest of Korean travelers in Kazakhstan and emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the fields of tourism, transport and humanitarian ties.The Ambassador noted that Kazakhstan, with its rich historical and cultural heritage, unique natural landscapes and dynamically developing economy, is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for both tourism and business travel. The expansion of direct air connectivity between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea plays a particularly important role in the development of tourism exchanges.Currently, 11 flights per week operate between the two countries during the winter season and up to 20 flights per week during the summer period. Air connections link the Kazakh cities of Almaty, Astana and Shymkent with Seoul and Busan, contributing to improved transport accessibility for foreign tourists and the development of business contacts.Special attention during the event was given to the successful operation of the direct Incheon – Shymkent flight, which currently operates twice a week with the potential to increase to three flights per week in the near future.A positive trend in mutual tourism exchanges was also noted. In 2025, Kazakhstan was visited by approximately 51,000 tourists from the Republic of Korea, representing an increase of 26% compared to the previous year. In turn, about 65,000 citizens of Kazakhstan visited the Republic of Korea, reflecting an increase of 18%.It was emphasized that the further development of tourism cooperation takes place against the backdrop of active political dialogue between the two countries. In this context, the significance of the upcoming visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the Republic of Korea to participate in the C5+K Summit in September 2026 was highlighted.
