Prague, 7 June 2025 – The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Czech Republic took part in the 8th annual Festival of Embassies in Prague – the largest international cultural and gastronomic event, which this year brought together diplomatic missions from 56 countries, showcasing their cultural traditions, handicrafts, and culinary heritage.The official opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavský, Mayor of Prague Bohuslav Svoboda, Mayor of Prague 6 Jakub Stárek, heads of diplomatic missions, and representatives of the business community.Kazakhstan was represented by a traditional yurt, which for the second year in a row became the centerpiece of the festival. Throughout the day, the yurt attracted numerous visitors eager to explore its unique interior, admire its traditional decor, and experience the nomadic culture of the Kazakh people.Special attention was paid to the yurt by the event’s distinguished guests – Foreign Minister J. Lipavský and Mayor of Prague 6 J. Stárek – who visited the Kazakh dastarkhan (a traditional festive table) and gladly sampled national dishes.Thanks to the support of the Alma-Ata store in Prague, festival visitors had the opportunity to fully experience the warmth of Kazakh hospitality and enjoy a wide variety of traditional cuisine. Traditional plov was prepared on-site in a large cauldron, and freshly made manty, national pastries, and desserts were also served. New Delhi, June 6, 2025 – As part of the official visit of Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu to India, Gabidulla Ospankulov, Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of major Indian companies to discuss the prospects for implementing investment projects in Kazakhstan.During negotiations with Tapas Mondal, International Director of Reliance Industries Limited, the parties discussed the company’s potential involvement in strategic initiatives in Kazakhstan. They considered the possibility of establishing an investment fund to support joint projects and explored opportunities for Reliance’s participation in the development of Alatau City – the largest special economic zone in Central Asia. Astana, June 9, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Vassilenko met today with the delegation of the Senate of Spain headed by Chairman of Foreign Relations Committee José Ignacio Landaluce.The parties discussed the prospects for strengthening inter-parliamentary ties, current issues of political, trade and economic cooperation, as well as interaction within international organizations.The interlocutors emphasized the importance of high- and top-level visits, which contribute to the development of a strategic partnership between Astana and Madrid.Deputy Minister Vassilenko noted the broad potential for cooperation with Spain, one of Kazakhstan’s important partners in the European Union. A gala concert dedicated to the closing of the 3rd season of the Danesh Rakishev Regional Philharmonic was held in Zhastar Park in Taldykorgan.
