Seoul, June 4, 2025 – The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Korea, together with Kazakh Tourism JSC NC, organized a Road Show to showcase Kazakhstan’s tourism potential.The event brought together about 150 participants, including representatives of leading Korean tour operators, airlines, the Secretariat of the Central Asia – Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum, the Korea Association of Travel Agents (KATA), tourism experts, and journalists from both countries. The Kazakh delegation included 10 organizations and companies such as Kazakh Tourism JSC NC, the Almaty Tourism Bureau, Air Astana and SCAT Airlines, and the Shymbulak ski resort.In his welcoming remarks, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Nurgali Arystanov emphasized the positive trends in the country’s socio-economic development. The rules of carriage of goods for personal use 08.06.2025
Goods for personal use, depending on the criteria for attribution and the method of transportation of such goods, transported by individuals through the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, are regulated by Decision No. 107 of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated December 20, 2017 "On certain issues related to goods for personal use", as well as in accordance with the Order of the Minister of Finance No. 250 of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 31, 2015 "Criteria for the classification of goods transported by individuals across the Customs border of the Customs Union, to goods for personal use."Thus, the above–mentioned norms established by law indicate that individuals can import duty-free goods for personal use by air transport worth no more than 10,000 euros and weighing no more than 50 kg, by other means of transport and on foot - worth no more than 500 euros and 25 kg. Today, Aitymbetova Lyazzat Kanibaevna, appointed to the post of head of the Department of the Committee for Medical and Pharmaceutical Control in the Kyzylorda region, was represented at a meeting on personnel changes, chaired by Akim of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev.Baymenova Galiya Absadykovna, who previously held this position, took a well-deserved rest due to reaching retirement age.Akim of the region wished Lyazzat Kanibaevna success in her new position and assigned her a number of tasks. She started her career in 1996 as a pharmacist at the Kyzylorda city Maternity hospital. Over the years, she has held responsible positions in the Department of the Committee for Medical and Pharmaceutical Control in the Kyzylorda region, the regional Health Department, and the Social Health Insurance Fund.
