Celebration of Nauryz Took Place at the Musikverein of Vienna 29.03.2025
Vienna, March 24, 2025 – a grand concert dedicated to the main spring holiday, Nauryz Meyrami, was held in the Brahms Hall of the world-renowned Musikverein of Vienna. The celebration, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Akimat of Atyrau Region, brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, media, business and cultural circles of Austria, as well as members of the Kazakh diaspora and students living in Vienna.Opening the event, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Deputy Akim of Atyrau Region, Daryn Shamuratov, and a representative of the Kazakh diaspora in Austria, Anar Adilbekova, emphasized the significance of Nauryz as a symbol of renewal, unity, and friendship among nations.The festive evening was adorned with performances by artists from the folk philharmonic "Murager" and the dance ensemble "Іnzhу-Мarzhan." They presented the audience with a colorful program filled with folk music and dances. Talented artists performed both traditional and contemporary Kazakh songs and kuis. The audience was particularly delighted by the famous compositions "Torzhorga," "Aq Zhauyn," as well as the folk songs "Kozinin Moldiri ai" and "Oi Kok." 135 families in Kyzylorda received new housing 29.03.2025
On the day of Nauryz, a ceremony was held in the Titov microdistrict of Kyzylorda to hand over the keys to a new 135-apartment residential building, attended by the akim of the region, Nurlybek Nalibayev. The event also welcomed deputies from the Senate and Majilis of Parliament, including Ruslan Rustemov, Murat Abenov, Markhabat Zhaimbetov, and Murat Ergeshbayev, along with representatives of the intelligentsia and local residents. The head of the region congratulated the townspeople on Nauryz and the housewarming. "With all my heart, I congratulate everyone on the holiday of Nauryz! May this bright holiday bring well-being and prosperity to our country and native land!" Recently, at the National Kurultai, our President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich proposed to hold the next, fifth session of the kurultai in Kyzylorda, the former capital of the Kazakh state. This historic decision brought great joy to all residents of the region. This year, funds have already been allocated for the purchase of 292 apartments, and an application for financing more than 3,300 apartments has been submitted. On the Amal Kuni holiday, the owners of a 60-apartment building received their keys in the regional center. Another sports and fitness complex has opened in Karmakshy district 29.03.2025
During a working visit to the Karmakshy district, the akim of the region, Nurlybek Nalibayev, participated in the opening of a sports and recreation complex in the village of Akai. The ceremony was attended by deputies of the Senate and Majilis of the Parliament, including Ruslan Rustemov, Murat Abenov, Marhabat Zhaiymbetov, and Murat Ergeshbayev, as well as representatives of the intelligentsia, aksakals, and local residents. The head of the region congratulated everyone on this occasion. "Our President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich said: “By developing mass sports, we open the way to professional sports and, most importantly, improve the health of the nation”.To encourage the population to engage in sports in their daily lives, the number of such complexes continues to grow. In October last year, a Table Tennis Center was opened in Kyzylorda. In May, a Central Stadium with 11,000 seats, meeting international standards, will be inaugurated. The construction of the multifunctional complex "Kyzylorda Arena" will begin soon.Since the beginning of the year, new sports and recreation complexes have opened in the settlements of III International and Dur Ongar in the Karmakshy district, as well as in the village of Besaryk in the Syrdarya district. In the Kazaly district, during the celebration of Nauryz, the village of Aktan Batyr was connected to natural gas with the participation of the regional head, Nurlybek Nalibayev. At the event, citizens who contributed to the socio-economic development of the district received letters of gratitude from the akim.By 2025, all settlements in the region will have 100% access to centralized drinking water. Currently, 38 projects worth KZT 11 billion are underway to provide electricity to the population. In 2024, over 300 km of roads were repaired, increasing the share of roads in good condition to 92%. In 2025, an additional 329 km of roads will be repaired, raising the share of roads in good condition to 95%. The reconstruction of the national highway "Kyzylorda-Zhezkazgan" is ongoing, with 151 out of 216 kilometers completed and operational. An additional 30 km of two-layer asphalt pavement has been laid, and the project is expected to be fully completed in 2025. A new terminal at Korkyt Ata airport has been opened, and with the support of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and local entrepreneurs, a major overhaul of the railway station has been completed. Guardsmen Detain Man with Narcotics 29.03.2025
In the city of Zhanaozen, police officers, in cooperation with National Guard servicemen, detained a man found in possession of prohibited substances.Law enforcement officers stopped a suspicious individual near a residential building in the Koktem neighborhood. During a search, an unidentified white powder was discovered.— When we stopped the suspect, he was behaving strangely. Another tourist train of the «Жибек жолы» Project arrived in Samarkand 29.03.2025
On March 23, 2025, 307 Kazakh tourists arrived in Samarkand on the next tourist train “Zhibek Zholy” on the route “Almaty-Turkestan-Tashkent-Samarkand-Shymkent-Almaty”. They were traditionally welcomed by the Uzbek side in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The guests familiarized themselves with the rich historical heritage of the ancient city, culture and tourist attractions.The “Zhibek Zholy” project is one of the leading tourist destinations in Central Asia, linking Almaty, Turkestan, Tashkent, Samarkand and Shymkent. Guardsmen Assisted Victims of a Traffic Accident in Aktau 29.03.2025
A traffic accident occurred in Aktau when a LADA vehicle collided with a streetlight pole. The car sustained severe damage, leaving the driver and passenger trapped inside.Servicemen of Military Unit 6656 of the National Guard, who were nearby, promptly came to the rescue. The guardsmen extracted the victims from the vehicle, moved them to a safe location, and provided first aid.— We immediately noticed the accident and took action without hesitation. March 23 marks Tazaru Kuni—the Day of Cleansing. This day concludes the ten-day spring celebration Nauryznama. It symbolizes the renewal of life both in a personal and societal sense: people reflect on the past, make plans for the future, and restore order around them.Preparations for the spring equinox include environmental cleanups, community beautification, and expressing respect for Mother Earth. In line with this, the Akimat of Saryarka District in Astana, together with the National Guard, organized a cleanup of labor veterans' yards, clearing them of snow.— The weather is getting warmer, and I was worried that the accumulated snow would melt and flood my home. But the soldiers quickly and thoroughly cleared the entire yard. I am grateful to the parents who raised such strong, compassionate, and helpful young men. Kazakh Gymnasts Triumph at the International “Aphrodite Cup 2025” Tournament in Athens 29.03.2025
Athens, March 23, 2025 — The national rhythmic gymnastics team of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the 10th anniversary international tournament “Aphrodite Cup 2025,” held from March 21 to 23 at the Faliro Olympic Indoor Hall in Athens. The competition brought together athletes from 27 countries and became a significant event in the international rhythmic gymnastics calendar.The Kazakh team demonstrated a high level of preparation and athletic excellence, winning a total of 18 medals, including:– 11 gold medals, including 3 in group events,– 6 silver medals, 2 of which in group events,– 1 bronze medal.On the occasion of the tournament’s 10th anniversary, the Kazakh team received a special award for participating in all editions of the “Aphrodite Cup” without a single absence. On March 23, Kazakhstan celebrated Tazaru Kuni—a day dedicated to environmental improvement and acts of kindness. Traditionally, this day is marked by cleanup campaigns and charitable initiatives.To honor this important occasion, 15 servicemen from the logistics and technical support company of Military Unit 6636 of the National Guard visited the SOS Children's Village Astana, where they cleared snow from the premises.The guardsmen quickly cleaned the pathways and helped remove the accumulated snow.— We are always ready to help, especially when it comes to children. The Economic Chamber of Croatia and the Dalmatia Region Aim to Strengthen Business Ties with Kazakhstan 29.03.2025
Zagreb, Split, March 20-22, 2025 – A meeting between the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Croatia, Daulet Batrashev, and the Vice President of the Economic Chamber of Croatia, Igor Pokaz, along with a working visit of the Ambassador D.Batrashev to the administrative center of the Dalmatia region, the city of Split, were focused on discussing the enhancement of business relations between Kazakhstan and Croatia, as well as the Croatian Economic Chamber’s role in fostering these ties.To further diversify the bilateral partnership and boost trade turnover, D. Batrashev and I. Pokoz discussed the organization of a Kazakh-Croatian business forum in Astana at the end of April this year. The forum is expected to feature over 28 Croatian companies from various sectors of the economy.The Croatian Chamber of Economy offers a wide range of resources to entrepreneurs and has a presence in every region of the country. As such, there are significant opportunities to enhance trade and economic cooperation through the Kazakhstan-Croatia Business Council, established in 2024.During a meeting with Ivica Puljak, the Mayor of Split, discussions focused on enhancing economic, cultural, and humanitarian ties. Appreciation was expressed to the city’s leadership for their support of the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in Split. Both sides also explored the idea of organizing an exhibition in the historic area of Split, highlighting Kazakhstan’s investment and tourism opportunities.
