The development of the energy supply system in Kostanay region is gaining strategic importance. Along with traditional sources, more and more attention is being paid to renewable energy sources (RES) - wind, solar and gas.Major projects have been successfully implemented in the region in recent years. So, in 2022, a 50 MW wind farm built by the Zhel Electric company was launched in Kostanay region.
