Seven illegal construction projects identified in Almaty region in two weeks 23.01.2025
The fight against illegal construction continues in the Almaty region. Over the past two weeks, monitoring groups have identified seven facilities being built without permits. Materials on all cases have already been sent to the court, where the future fate of the Samostroevs will be decided."Illegal construction is not just a violation of the law, it is a potential threat to the safety of residents and damage to the environment. We do not intend to turn a blind eye to this problem and will harshly suppress any attempts at unauthorized construction of facilities," said Gabiden Uzenbayev, Acting head of the Department of State Architectural and Construction Control of the Almaty region.Local residents complain about the increased incidence of self-construction, noting the negative impact on the quality of life and the appearance of settlements. Today, a significant event took place in the city of Rudny – two apartment buildings were put into operation. Improving the quality of life in Kostanay region: focus on employment and business support 21.01.2025

In 2023, 4 thousand families received support, and in 2024 their number decreased to 2.4 thousand.Much attention is paid to supporting small and medium-sized businesses. The program for financing entrepreneurs at 1% continues to operate; in 2024, 27 loans were issued for 1.1 billion tenge, mainly for the development of livestock farming. Irrigated agriculture projects were also financed for 2 billion tenge.The number of small and medium-sized businesses in the region has grown by 8% over two years, amounting to almost 66 thousand.
