Today, the World Expo 2025 Osaka concludes. The main event for participating countries took place yesterday, October 12. On that day, the EXPO Awards ceremony summarized the results of the exhibition, where the Kazakhstan pavilion took first place in the main Theme Development category – "Exposure to the Exhibition Theme" – among small pavilions of the "C" category. Regional Akim Nurlybek Nalibayev participated in a tree planting event as part of the «Taza Kazakhstan» environmental campaign, which took place in the renovated Korkyt Ata Park. Members of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, intellectuals, elders, and city residents attended the event.The park, which features a monument dedicated to the 1,300th anniversary of the book «Korkyt Ata», opened in 2002. Today, it has been completely transformed and has become a comfortable place for children to relax, walk, and play.The landscaping project covered an area of 38,828 square meters. Of this, 1,826 square meters is construction land, 13,430 square meters are paved, and 23,572 square meters are landscaped.The park features modern fountains, sports and children's playgrounds, walking paths, and lighting. Benches have also been installed, and a landscaping and irrigation system has been installed for visitors to enjoy. The national equestrian games "Uly dala dubiri" began in the city of Arkalyk in honor of the Republic Day. The purpose of the event is to preserve and popularize the heritage of our ancestors, develop national sports and educate the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism.Traditional competitions are held annually. This year, four national teams from the city of Arkalyk and nearby rural districts are taking part in them. Astana, October 8, 2025 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the international conference “Peace Through Partnership: The Role of Civil Society in Ensuring Regional Security.” The event brought together representatives of government institutions, diplomatic missions, international organizations, as well as non-governmental and research centers from Kazakhstan, Central Asian countries, Europe, and the United Kingdom.The forum focused on strengthening societal resilience, developing partnerships between the state and civil society, and exchanging international experience in preventing radicalization and countering extremism.Stanislav Vassilenko, Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, highlighted the strategic importance of public diplomacy as an instrument for enhancing regional stability and trust.
