The journey begins here: an information center for tourists has been launched in Karaganda 16.04.2025
The VISIT KARAGANDA Tourist Information Center is ready to receive visitors. Here, guests of the region can get information about routes, attractions, hotels, recreation areas, and tour operator services. Experts will advise you on what to see and where to go.— We want anyone who comes to Karaganda to know where to go and what to see, — says the director of the center Bakhtiyar Bekmurzaev. — We also plan to open a visit center in the airport area so that every guest, having set foot on Karaganda land, would not get confused, but could get useful information. The center will produce guidebooks and maps, open new routes and develop various areas of tourism: adventure, children's, ecological, gastronomic, ethno- and industrial. Work is currently underway to create new routes, including hiking, urban and regional excursions, jeep tours and expeditions to historical and picturesque places. One of the main projects of the center is a virtual consultant created on the basis of artificial intelligence, with support for 170 languages of the world. The chatbot will become a convenient assistant for traveling around the Karaganda region. Through it, you can choose a route, learn about the sights and get up-to-date information about hotels, gas stations and recreation areas. In addition, a booking system adapted to local realities is under development. It will reflect not only urban hotels, but also rural accommodation options.Developing tourism, it is necessary to conduct not only information work, but also to provide high-quality infrastructure.— First of all, we need a large-scale information campaign. Even many Karaganda residents do not know what attractions there are in the region, let alone tourists. Information should find people on its own. Secondly, road improvements are needed. Even in rural areas, they can be put in order. It is not necessary to lay asphalt, but you need to make sure that the roads can be driven. And, of course, the biggest difficulty is the accommodation of tourists. It is necessary to involve local residents more actively in the creation of guest houses, the training of guides and the provision of transport services," said Vitaly Shuptar, Chairman of the Avalon Historical and Geographical Society. One of the new projects of the center will be a children's language camp in Karkaralinsk. Children will be able to learn the Kazakh language, get acquainted with the traditions and customs of the people in a natural environment without gadgets.Among the additional activities of the center will be the creation of tourist merchandise. One of these collaboration projects is the Vizit Karaganda line of the Nurami brand.— Our brand promotes Kazakhstani artists. We use images of their paintings on our products," says Lyudmila Fedosenko, a brand representative. — T-shirts with works by the Karaganda artist Vladimir Protsenko are currently in the line. They feature iconic places in Karaganda: Gornyakov Recreation Center, Cascade Square and Karkaralinsk. I think when tourists come to us, they will be pleased to take with them something that will remind them of their trip and our region.Speaking about the plans, Bakhtiyar Bekmurzayev stressed that the main goal of the center is to develop the tourism potential of the region.— We want to become a center that will help tourists and entrepreneurs to interact and develop comfortably, — said Bakhtiyar Bekmurzayev. The tourist Information Center "VISIT QARAGANDA" is located in the Center of State and Service Services of the Karaganda region at 709 Tattimbeta Street.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/karaganda/press/news/details/969409?lang=kk

For example, there is a home appliance factory. The workshops are very bright and clean. About additional measures to increase the city treasury 15.04.2025
The structure of supplementing the city budget is unique. There are 185 thousand SMEs in the city. One third of the population works in the business sector. Incomes of SMEs make up 40% of the city's GDP, 60% of the budget is formed due to revenues from SMEs. That is, SMEs form the economic base of social support of the city.According to the decision of the head of state K.-Zh. Tokaev, from January 1, 2020, the corporate income tax from SMEs will be transferred to local budgets. This means that the more SMEs there are, the more revenue will come to the city budget. Therefore, this decision forms a resource base for equal development of districts according to the principle of "Borderless City". The main position of the administration is to improve the quality of life in equal conditions for all residents of the district. In this regard, the city administration is taking measures for the maximum development of SMEs. For this, additional reserves and growth points have been identified. One of the main priorities of the "ALMATY - 2020" program is "A city for business and private capital". • "Almaty Invest"  investment attraction center was established; • "Qoldaý" business center with branches in 6 districts of the city was established; • "Almaty Finance" financial company and "Almaty" microcredit organization were established. They have a differentiated interest rate policy. 7% for SMEs in the central part of the city, 2% for the outskirts. Within the framework of lending, 2 billion tenge will be allocated by the end of 2019, and 10 billion tenge will be allocated in 2020; 3 times the amount of financial support for SMEs (from 10.5 billion tenge to 31 billion tenge); "Almaty Business 2025" program training of 20,000 entrepreneurs every year.At the same time, entrepreneurs mentioned a number of factors that hinder the development of SMEs. They are:-                     Decline in demand;-                     Administrative barriers to business creation and development; - Lack of available infrastructure for service and trade; - Low literacy of SME entities, especially entrepreneurs who have just started their business. For example, according to entrepreneurs, the introduction of bicycle lanes on both sides of Konaev and Baitursynov streets will have a negative impact on the situation of SME enterprises located on these streets. Among them are trade, catering, health care, etc. enterprises are included. The number of incoming clients has decreased, and the income indicator has decreased. This, in turn, has a negative impact on the financial stability of SMEs. According to businessmen from Almaty, there is no place for customers to park their cars because of the bicycle lanes. That is why their arrival has decreased. Bicycle lanes are located on both sides of the road. This is a big obstacle to parking. There are 392 objects on Konaev Street. There are 115 objects on the east side, 277 on the west side. Among them, today there are 11 objects ("ArtDFlowers" flower shop, "Jewelmer" jewelry salon, "Visit" beauty salon, "Milana" clothing boutique) and others. closed. There are a total of 99 boutiques in the "Dom Odezhdy Voskhod" shopping center. Today there are 49 boutiques. Since 2018, about 50 boutiques (children's and women's clothing boutiques, crockery and bedding boutiques) have been closed. For example, the income of"SAB TRADE COMPANY" LLP, engaged in the wholesale and retail trade of beverages ("TOIMART" LLP, located at the intersection of Konaev Street, 153 Shevchenko St.) is 3 times decreased. Therefore, tax transfers were reduced by 3 times (in 2016 - 233,762,900 tenge. In 2017 - 164,851,700 tenge. In 2018 - 62,447,800 tenge). 22,955,500 tenge, in the first half of 2019 - 4,572,200 tenge. Also, the income of the restaurant "Dolcetto" ("Khan" JK, Konaev street, 114) has decreased by 3 times (turnover from 15-18 million tenge to 5-6 million tenge per month), jobs have decreased from 33 to 19 people.Baytursynov Street has 255 facilities:- on the opposite page - 107 objects, in particular, Akhmet Baitursynov's House-Museum, Nikolsky Cathedral, Nikolsky Bazaar, Flower Market, Almaty Technological University, Depo Evolution.- on the west side -118. They are: Department of Migration Services of Almaty Police Department, Pedagogical College of Foreign Languages, Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism. Here 2 objects  (Master doner and pharmacy) were closed. In the administrative building at 16 Baitursynov St. (east side) before the bicycle lane was introduced, there were 20 tenants, today there are 9 tenants left. Since 2018, 11 tenants have breached their leases. (2 dental clinics, "Logistic Center" LLP, "Wolfram" LLP, training center, etc.). Also, from September 1, 2019, LLP "SprintR" will also terminate the contract (30 workplaces). transfers decreased by 27.9%. (in the 1st half of 2017 – 3.2 million tenge, in the 1st half of 2019 – 2.3 million tenge) The number of visitors decreased from 9,654 to 8,429, and 12 employees were dismissed (previously 34, now 22).The tax transfers of cafe "ZhanEr.D" (Baytursynov street, 44, east side) decreased by 26.6 million tenge in 2017 and 17.4 million tenge in 2018. "Oriental" tax transfers of the kitchen (Baytursynov, 89) in 2017 - 1.7 million tenge, in 2018 - 1.1 million tenge. In this regard, the Public Council of Almaty proposes to place the bicycle lane on Konaev and Baitursynov streets on one side of the street so that it goes in both directions, like on Shevchenko street. And it is better to consider a parking lot on the other side of the street. This event will be beneficial for both entrepreneurs and cycling enthusiasts. Also, if the parking spaces are restored, it is estimated that about 300 new jobs can be opened along Konaev Street, and about 150 along Baitursynov Street. align="center">Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/26719?lang=kk

RK IIDM STRENGTHENS ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY RULES IN WATER 15.04.2025
Currently, there are 12 ships of the merchant fleet, the carrying capacity of 5-13 thousand tons, and more than 300 ships sailing under the flag of Kazakhstan, including the fleet for the support of sea operations for the development of oil fields, operate in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea. In addition, about 60 ships from other Caspian states enter Kazakhstan's ports on a permanent basis.Taking into account the intensity of the use of ships in the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea and the volume of transported oil and fuel, there is a very high risk of pollution from ships in the territorial seas of our country and, accordingly, irreparable damage. In this regard, to ensure the discharge of "zero" waste water from sea vessels, the rules for their prevention were approved by the order of the head of the RK IIDM. They are aimed at implementing the technical requirements of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL Convention). In particular, the procedures for carrying out operations on board ships that lead to sea pollution are determined, for example, fueling the ship, washing cargo parts, filtering and removing waste water used for economic purposes discharged into the sea.In addition, the presence of special equipment and systems on ships to prevent the release of oil, liquid chemicals, waste water and garbage into the sea and requirements for their work are established. These rules prevent sea pollution from ships. It allows to ensure the observance of the harmonized international requirements for risk reduction and, accordingly, to avoid the delay of domestic ships in foreign ports due to their violation, as well as to reduce the probability of expenses on the part of the ship owner to eliminate the consequences of marine environment pollution.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mps/press/news/details/26689?lang=kk

RAILWAY TICKET TARIFFS WILL CHANGE FOR SOME DIRECTIONS IN KAZAKHSTAN IN 2018 15.04.2025
Tariff adjustment will not exceed the expected inflation limit. Thus, ticket prices on 38 routes are expected to increase by 7%, on 3 routes by 3%. However, there will be no change in the ticket price of 16 routes. This is done due to the tender applications of several carriers. And the carrier is responsible for the risks of reduced income on these routes.Tariff increase for suburban trains is 37%. This is due to the increase of base rates for passenger transportation on suburban trains. For example, the previous base price of suburban trains was 324 tenge per 100 km. And it was 3-4 times higher on highways. In order to reduce transportation costs in the suburbs, the base rate will be increased by 30%, and the price will be 464 tenge per 100 km.Thus, the upcoming amendments will allow to increase the efficiency of passenger transportation on socially important routes.Photo taken from open sourceSource : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mps/press/news/details/26064?lang=kk
