Karaganda region is ready for the sowing campaign 24.04.2025
In the Karaganda region this year, the sown area will amount to 1.2 million hectares. Crops of oilseeds and fodder crops, planting of potatoes and vegetables will be increased. The equipment is already fully ready to enter the fields. Seeds have been purchased, most of which are highly productive. Farmers will use mineral fertilizers more actively. To check the hours, an agricultural council was organized in the region, where they discussed the readiness for the sowing campaign and state support measures. The meeting was attended by the head of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev, Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov, heads of agricultural enterprises, scientists, representatives of financial institutions. Suppliers of fertilizers and machinery, agricultural insurers were also present.– The Head of State has set clear goals: to develop agricultural science, improve breeding, introduce modern technologies, make equipment and financing more accessible, as well as increase exports. Work is underway in these areas. We are strengthening control over the use of agricultural land, returning irrigated areas to circulation, building new facilities and modernizing old ones. Special attention is paid to the increase in yields and the transition to a variety of crops," said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.Aidarbek Saparov elaborated on the state support measures. In particular, access to concessional financing at 5% has been expanded. The volume of loans for spring field work in the country has increased to a record 700 billion tenge. 200 billion tenge has been allocated for preferential leasing of agricultural machinery this year.– The Head of State set specific tasks to bring the agricultural sector to a new frontier of development and double the volume of gross output within 5 years. A roadmap has been developed that provides for measures in each area of the agro–industrial complex," the minister said.Aidarbek Saparov called on plant breeders to develop animal husbandry. According to him, this will ensure year-round employment of the rural population, demand for feed and an increase in the production of in-demand products. This year, preferential loans will be extended to the livestock industry.Georgy Prokop, the head of Shakhterskoye LLP, addressed his colleagues. He told us how the state support measures really work and give us the opportunity to move on. This year, the advanced enterprise will increase the acreage by 7 thousand hectares and bring it to 42 thousand hectares. To diversify the area, oilseed crops will be sown: flax, safflower and rapeseed.– We were able to get loans at 5% in February. And we took advantage of it, bought fertilizers in December. And take equipment leasing: 5% per annum without collateral. When was that?! Update, dear colleagues! We took 24 tractors of different capacities. It's the same for fertilizers: we bought four thousand tons, bought everything we need to cultivate the land. This has never happened before in the history of our economy! We will fully process the fields twice. This is the future of our harvest," said Georgy Prokop. After the agricultural council, Aidarbek Saparov held a personal reception for citizens. Agricultural producers addressed the Minister with questions on the development of livestock breeding, the implementation of investment projects, the creation of a meat cluster, etc.An exhibition of machinery was also organized, where new products were presented to plant breeders. And agricultural producers have shown a variety of their products.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/karaganda/press/news/details/979704?lang=kk

The international forum at the Medical University of Karaganda brought together scientists from different countries of the world 24.04.2025
Karaganda Medical University has become a platform for the international forum "Research and Innovation" in the field of biomedicine, dedicated to the Day of Science. It brought together scientists from France, China, the Netherlands, as well as leading Kazakhstani universities.— The Forum is not just a conference, but a platform for forming new scientific ties and developing joint projects. As well as the opportunity to compare scientific hours and learn from the best foreign experience," said Ermek Turgunov, Vice Rector for Scientific and Clinical Work at KMU. — We see how biomedicine is developing rapidly, and we try to keep up with the times. Such meetings are an investment in the health of future generations.Karaganda Medical University has been training masters in biomedicine for several years. According to Ermek Turgunov, one of the two collective use laboratories in the country is located here. It is currently being upgraded — by 2026 it is planned to bring the laboratory to the world level.— We look inside the body to understand how processes work, both normal and pathological. Without this, it is impossible to develop effective medicines. It is also important to understand who is doing this in other countries and how. The exchange of experience is key here," says Dmitry Klyuev, Director of the Institute of Life Sciences at Karaganda Medical University. The Forum has become an important event for young scientists. A separate section was dedicated to them. Dmitry Solyanov, a junior researcher at the university, sees a great future in biomedicine. He is currently engaged in research in the field of chromatography and gene editing, as well as developments in the field of prostate and breast cancer.— The prospects of biomedicine primarily lie in the fact that they benefit the whole of humanity. Even if at the moment it seems that our research is very expensive or looks too far into the future, is something from the field of futurism, every research, every development by a young scientist somehow reduces the cost of future technologies. And what seems inaccessible now will be able to improve the lives of thousands of people in a few years," Dmitry Solyanov believes. One of the speakers of the forum, Gregoire Prevost, President of the French CIPREVO Center (Cancer and Innovation), believes that the main goal of the international scientific dialogue is to develop collaboration and exchange best practices in the fight against chronic diseases and oncology. At the conference, he shared the results of a study that was conducted on small cell lung cancer cells and studied the effects of certain drugs.—Whether drugs that can defeat cancer will be created in the near future is a difficult question," says the French biologist. — Today, many scientists around the world are working on cancer treatment, but prevention is of primary importance. The main goal is to prevent the development of the disease. First of all, we are talking about a healthy lifestyle. This approach can significantly reduce the risk of cancer, including breast, prostate, and colon cancer. The conference participants covered a variety of topics related to molecular medicine, from genomics and DNA editing to digital healthcare and targeted therapies.Biomarkers, artificial intelligence, and the prevention of chronic diseases were also discussed during the sessions.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/karaganda/press/news/details/979720?lang=kk
