Daniyar Mustafin, a seventh-grader from the Karaganda Nazarbayev Intellectual School, became the best at the republican stage of the Spelling Bee international competition. Strengthening control in forest areas and on agricultural lands is essential. Comprehensive measures to prevent floods are being implemented in the region. Ice drift began on the rivers on February 14, and they were completely cleared in March. The water level in the rivers was managed by diverting water into main canals and lakes.
