Modern wind turbines will provide the Karaganda region with green energy 28.05.2025
The second stage of construction of the first 150 MW wind farm in the Karaganda region is underway in Osakarov district. The project is scheduled to be completed this year. 20 new jobs will be created at the facility.Seven of the 21 wind turbines have already been installed in the area between the settlements of Osakarovka, Saryozek and Telman. The height of each mast with blades is more than 200 meters. Certified turbines with a capacity of 7.7 MW are among the newest and most powerful in the CIS today. One such wind turbine can provide energy to an entire village. The Osakarov district was chosen for construction for a reason: according to multi-month measurements, the average annual wind speed here is 8.5 m/s.— A year of measurements has confirmed that there are good conditions here — strong and stable winds, open hilly terrain. Specialists from China, Germany, and France came to us, and they all noted the potential of the location and the height of the installed generators," says Dmitry Silantyev, technical director of the "Hyperborea" contractor. —The energy generated here will be supplied to the general network of Kazakhstan – KEGOC, and then distributed across the regions.Currently, about 150 specialists are employed in the construction of the facility, and after commissioning, only 20 people will provide maintenance of the automated station.Management and monitoring are completely centralized: all processes are controlled from the substation through special software. This project in Osakarovka is not the only one. A memorandum on the construction of 65 500 MW wind turbines has already been signed in the region. In addition, two more large projects are under development — 500 MW in Temirtau and 200 MW in Karkaraly district.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/karaganda/press/news/details/1001552?lang=kk
