Казахстан усиливает торговлю с Центральной Азией: рост товарооборота на 14%, экспорта - на 22% 29.03.2026
25 марта 2026 года в столице Узбекистана состоялся первый международный форум «Центральная Азия: от производительности к процветанию. Региональный диалог». Казахстан на мероприятии представил вице-министр национальной экономики Ерлан Сагнаев.Форум объединил представителей правительств, международных организаций и делового сообщества для обсуждения стратегических направлений развития региона. В центре внимания - повышение производительности труда, модернизация агропромышленного комплекса, цифровая трансформация и развитие человеческого капитала.Ключевым итогом встречи стало подписание Ташкентской декларации, закрепившей намерение стран Центральной Азии консолидировать усилия для перехода к качественно новой модели экономического роста - основанной на эффективности, инновациях и знаниях.В своём выступлении Ерлан Сагнаев подчеркнул, что регион демонстрирует устойчивую динамику развития и укрепление взаимного доверия между странами.«Сегодня перед нами стоит общая задача - перейти от количественного роста к росту, основанному на производительности. Наша стратегическая цель - трансформировать эту эффективность в устойчивое и инклюзивное процветание», - отметил он.Вице-министр обозначил ключевые направления, способные усилить региональную синергию.Так, взаимная торговля остаётся одним из драйверов сотрудничества: по итогам 2025 года товарооборот Казахстана со странами Центральной Азии достиг 8,8 млрд долларов США, увеличившись на 14,4 %, при этом экспорт вырос на 21,7% и составил 6,6 млрд долларов. Дополнительный потенциал связан с упрощением процедур и цифровизацией торговых процессов.Существенную роль играет развитие транспортно-логистической связности. В частности, отмечена значимость проекта железной дороги «Дарбаза–Мактаарал», реализуемого при поддержке международных финансовых институтов. Ожидается, что запуск линии позволит значительно увеличить пропускную способность.В сфере инвестиций предложено активнее использовать возможности Тюркского инвестиционного фонда для создания совместных индустриальных зон и кластеров, способных стать точками роста производительности.Отдельный акцент сделан на цифровой трансформации. Казахстан выразил готовность делиться технологическими решениями и развивать совместные проекты на базе инфраструктуры Astana Hub.Ключевым фактором роста обозначено развитие человеческого капитала - через образовательное сотрудничество, обмен знаниями и совместную работу с международными организациями, включая структуры ООН, по достижению Целей устойчивого развития.Помимо декларации, по итогам форума подписан ряд соглашений с международными партнёрами. Tbilisi – A grand celebration of Nauryz Meyram took place in the Abanotubani district of Tbilisi, bringing together the diplomatic missions of the Turkic states. The event was organised jointly by the Embassies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Turkey and Turkmenistan in Georgia.The festival served as a vivid symbol of friendship, cultural diversity and mutual respect between peoples united by shared historical and spiritual traditions. Throughout the day, guests were able to discover the rich cultural heritage of the participating countries, and enjoy national music, dance and traditional cuisine.The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented a colourful cultural programme, including a showcase of national cuisine, traditional clothing and elements of Kazakh culture. Nauryz Celebrated in Serbia 29.03.2026
March 25, 2026, Belgrade – A cultural and educational event dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade.During the event, the diplomatic club was introduced to the concept of celebrating Nauryz — “Nauryznama,” symbolizing renewal, unity, and the continuity of cultural traditions. Austria Seeks to Deepen Interparliamentary Cooperation with Central Asia Countries 29.03.2026
Vienna, 26 March 2026 – As part of Austria’s intensified engagement with the Central Asian region, as well as efforts to develop interparliamentary cooperation formats, a meeting was held between the Ambassadors of Central Asian countries and Mongolia and members of the Austria–Central Asia Parliamentary Friendship Group.During the dialogue, the head of the Austrian Parliamentary Friendship Group, Member of the National Council Martin Hofer, noted the growing importance of Central Asia in global politics and emphasized the strategic interest of the European Union in the region. According to him, Austria attaches great importance to expanding partnerships with Central Asian states and seeks constructive cooperation across a wide range of areas. Particular attention was paid to interparliamentary engagement. He also noted that Austria and the countries of Central Asia share common aspirations, including strengthening democracy.In turn, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi briefed participants on the current state and future prospects of Kazakhstan–Austria relations. A Kazakh delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbayev participated in the 43rd meeting of UN-Water, held at the headquarters of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in Rome. During the meeting, the Kazakh delegation presented the upcoming Regional Environmental Summit in Astana, as well as plans for international consultations on the initiative of the Head of State to establish an International Water Organization under the auspices of the United Nations.During his working visit to Rome, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbayev also held meetings with senior officials from Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as well as with representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).In a meeting with Italy’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli, the sides discussed current issues in bilateral cooperation and prospects for further strengthening relations between Kazakhstan and Italy, including within the C5 + 1 framework and through the Kazakhstan–Italy Intergovernmental Working Group on industrial and economic cooperation.Yerzhan Ashikbayev outlined the major reforms underway in Kazakhstan as part of the President’s reform programme, including the results of the referendum on the draft new Constitution and the continued transformation of the country’s political system. He highlighted that efforts to develop the sector are already delivering results, with overall agricultural output increasing by 13.6% last year.He added that Kazakhstan aims to significantly expand its agricultural processing sector in the coming years, with the goal of increasing the share of high value-added products to 70%. To achieve this, the country plans to build new processing facilities and modernise existing ones.Yerzhan Ashikbayev also reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s intention to strengthen its partnership with the FAO, including through the implementation of a three-year plan to launch more than 700 investment projects in the agri-food sector.During a meeting with IFAD President and Chair of UN-Water Alvaro Lario, the parties reviewed their joint efforts to advance regional and international cooperation in water security. The Results of Tax Law Awareness Activities by the State Revenue Department of East Kazakhstan Region Discussed at a Regional Akimat Meeting 29.03.2026
On March 20, 2026, a meeting of the interdepartmental commission on the prevention of offenses and anti-corruption was held at the regional Akimat.The meeting was attended by the Head of the State Revenue Department for the East Kazakhstan Region, Sayat Bimagambetov, as well as the Head of the Public Outreach and Contact Center Department, Gulmira Sabralimova.During the meeting, representatives of the Department presented information on the ongoing awareness and outreach activities conducted among small and medium-sized businesses. Particular attention was paid to issues of compliance with tax legislation, liability for violations, and measures to ensure the voluntary fulfillment of tax obligations.As noted by Gulmira Sabralimova, a key priority remains informing taxpayers about the main provisions of the new Tax Code, which came into force on January 1, 2026. New IT Solutions to Simplify Business Tax Accounting Discussed at the State Revenue Committee 29.03.2026
       On March 20, a meeting was held at the State Revenue Committee in Astana with the participation of leading IT developers, dedicated to the implementation of digital solutions aimed at simplifying tax administration and transitioning to a service-oriented model of interaction with businesses.      The meeting was chaired by Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, Seilzhan Akhmetov. It was attended by developers of inventory management systems and three-component integrated systems, as well as providers of business automation solutions.      The key objective identified was the maximum simplification of tax accounting through the introduction of modern IT solutions and the automation of processes.      The new concept envisages the integration of the full cycle of business operations into unified digital systems, including: accounting for the receipt and sale of goods; automatic generation of tax reporting; and timely payment of taxes.     It is expected that, in the future, such systems will be able to partially perform the functions of a tax agent. This will reduce the administrative burden on entrepreneurs, minimize errors in accounting, and automate routine operations.     During the meeting, developers presented the current capabilities of their solutions and proposals for further development. Representatives of systems such as “Trinity”, “Uchet.KZ”, “Prosklad”, “1C:Accounting”, “Wipon”, “UMAG”, “Paloma365”, “R-Keeper”, and other market participants took part in the discussion.     Following the meeting, a joint working group was established with the participation of representatives of government bodies and the IT sector. The Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan (a subsidiary of Baiterek National Investment Holding) has launched the Export Showcase (https://export.bgov.kz) platform.The new resource is designed to mass market domestic products and services and attract the attention of foreign buyers. The platform offers an expanded catalog of products “Made in Kazakhstan”. The main focus here is on specific goods, their characteristics and consumer properties.The main feature of the Export Showcase is its clear export orientation. The goods on the platform are classified into five main industries: light industry, food and chemical industry, agricultural products, metallurgy, mechanical engineering and construction.The search system allows potential buyers to easily find the necessary products using keywords. For example, if a specific request is entered, the system will display all available offers from Kazakhstani manufacturers in this category. Each product card contains a full description of the product and its main technical parameters. In addition, the user has the opportunity to immediately go from the specific product page to the profile of the company that produces the product.“Only verified manufacturers that have been checked by the agency are presented on this platform. The “EKA Verified” status serves as a guarantee of reliability, reduces risks and strengthens trust in the interaction between Kazakhstani exporters and foreign buyers,” noted Madina Yerzhanova, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan.The “Exporter Showcase” project aims to become a digital bridge between Kazakhstani business and international markets. The platform will simplify the process of searching for suppliers and help increase the popularity of domestic brands abroad. National Guard troops to assess canteen food quality via electronic system 29.03.2026
A round table dedicated to improving the quality of nutrition for servicemen was held in the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, a new pilot project was presented, being implemented within the law enforcement troops as part of fulfilling the поручения of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on digitalization.The project is aimed at enhancing the quality of daily meals for servicemen, strengthening food security, ensuring transparency in canteen operations, and reducing risks associated with the human factor.The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Ansagan Baltabekov. He noted that providing servicemen with high-quality nutrition is one of the key priorities of the National Guard. It was also emphasized that the meeting addressed issues of food supply, results of canteen inspections, and current challenges in this area.The hardware and software system is currently operating in pilot mode in military unit 5573 of the National Guard. The key feature of the project is the ability for servicemen to promptly evaluate the quality of meals through an electronic system. Using a dedicated feedback panel, assessments are instantly transmitted to food suppliers and the command.By August of this year, it is planned to analyze the effectiveness of the system, after which the possibility of its implementation in other military units will be considered.“This system allows us to freely express our opinion. We can immediately evaluate which dishes we liked and which we didn’t. Thanks to this, the quality of food in the canteen is noticeably improving,” said Junior Sergeant Nuraly Zhazit, a serviceman of military unit 5573.The round table also addressed issues of food safety compliance, strengthening sanitary requirements, ensuring transparency in supplier operations, and the effective use of budget funds.It is worth noting that today more than 7,000 National Guard servicemen ensure public order in 21 cities across the country. Kazakhstan and Vietnam Strengthen Cooperation in Water Resources and Sustainable Development 29.03.2026
On March 26, 2026, H.E. Mr. Kanat Tumysh, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, met with Dr. Pham Thi Thanh Nga, Director of the Institute of Meteorology, Hydrology, Environment and Marine Sciences (IMHEMS) of Vietnam.The meeting focused on current areas of bilateral cooperation and prospects for joint work in scientific and environmental fields.The parties noted that in 2025, marking the 33rd anniversary of diplomatic relations, Kazakhstan and Vietnam elevated their partnership to a strategic level, opening new opportunities for strengthening cooperation in hydrology, water security, climate adaptation, and environmental development.The Ambassador of Kazakhstan informed the Vietnamese side about the country’s priorities in the water sector, including the President’s initiative to establish an International Water Organization, aimed at consolidating the global water mandate and enhancing the effectiveness of international water resource governance. The Vietnamese side expressed interest in participating in the upcoming Regional Environmental Summit in Astana in April 2026, as well as readiness for experience exchange and scientific cooperation.The meeting also discussed global water challenges, including the need to reform the current UN governance structure, improve policy coherence, and consolidate the water mandate to respond effectively to international challenges, including transboundary resources and climate change impacts.Dr. Pham Thi Thanh Nga, Director of IMHEMS, presented IMHEMS activities and highlighted Viet Nam’s active participation in UNESCO programs, including the Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme, focused on scientific collaboration, water resource monitoring, flood and drought risk management, and capacity building.Special attention was given to the 32nd session of the Regional Steering Committee (RSC) of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme for the Asia-Pacific region held in October 2025 under Vietnam’s chairmanship, and the upcoming 33rd session in China in September 2026. According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 6, 2024 No. 71-VIII ZRK "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Business Matters" (Article 1, paragraph 30) and the Order of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 26, 2024 No. 222.
