Ол қазақ жазуын жаңартуға және латын графикасына көшуге негіз салған тұлға ретінде қазақ мәдениеті мен тілінің дамуына үлкен үлес қосты.Мемлекеттік тіл – Қазақстан халқын біріктіретін басты символдардың бірі.
