25 сентября 2025 года заключён Меморандум о сотрудничестве между Казахским национальным университетом имени Аль-Фараби и Комитетом по правовой статистике и специальным учетам Генеральной прокуратуры.Достигшее соглашение является очередным шагом в реализации поручения Главы государства по совершенствованию прогнозно-аналитической деятельности.Документ подписан ректором Университета Жансеитом Туймебаевым  и председателем Комитета Генеральной прокуратуры государственным советником юстиции 3-го класса Сабитом Нурлыбай.Меморандум предусматривает объединение усилий правоохранительных органов и академического сообщества в целях развития инновационных решений по прогнозированию преступных угроз и выявлению рисков общественной безопасности.Особое внимание уделено деятельности нового подразделения Комитета, созданного в рамках исполнения поручения Главы государства на заседании коллегии правоохранительных органов в июне текущего года — Центра прогнозирования преступных угроз и рисков общественной безопасности, который является площадкой для внедрения научных исследований и современных технологий в практику правоохранительных органов.«Комитет, выполняя задачи по прогнозированию преступных угроз, сталкивается с необходимостью одновременно применять технологичные инструменты и исследовательские методы. Их эффективность зависит от научной базы, глубины и качества их разработки.Именно здесь мы видим роль Университета.Комитетом уже заключены меморандумы с ведущими вузами страны, такими как университет имени Максута Нарикбаева, Международный университет Астана, Карагандинский университет имени академика Е.А. Букетова и Институт законодательства Министерства юстиции.Для нас важно, чтобы научные сотрудники университета работали совместно с прокурорами Центра прогнозирования. Сотрудничество позволит объединить большие данные Комитета с методологической экспертизой академической среды и создать модели, которые будут использоваться в работе правоохранительных органов», — отметил Председатель Комитета Сабит Нурлыбай.Согласно достигнутым договорённостям, Комитет и Университет начнут совместные научно-исследовательские работы по прогнозированию преступности, ориентированные под практические нужды.Это позволит Университету расширить и актуализировать исследовательскую базу, а Комитету — внедрять передовые разработки, имеющие научное обоснование.Отдельное направление меморандума связано с вовлечением студентов последних курсов IT-направлений в проекты Центра прогнозирования преступных угроз. Kazakhstan and the UAE Discuss Strengthening Cooperation in the Legal Sphere 14.10.2025

September 23, 2025, New York – A number of agreements signed with U.S. company Wabtec.As part of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s working visit to the United States, a signing ceremony was held in the presence of U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick with the American company Wabtec, amounting to approximately $4.2 billion. The agreements provide for the production of 300 advanced freight locomotives in Kazakhstan and their subsequent maintenance.Recognized as a global leader in transport technologies, Wabtec is one of the key partners in modernizing Kazakhstan’s railway industry.Since 2009, the Wabtec Kazakhstan locomotive assembly plant has been successfully operating in Astana. Over this period, the company has invested more than $230 million. Since its launch, the plant has produced more than 600 locomotives for the national railway company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and for export. New York, 22 September 2025 - President of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a series of bilateral meetings on the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.In his meeting with President of Montenegro H.E. Mr. Jakov Milatović, the Head of State emphasized that Kazakhstan regards Montenegro as an important partner in the Balkans. Next year, the two countries will mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, during which time constructive ties based on friendship and mutual understanding have been forged. For his part, President Milatović expressed gratitude for Kazakhstan’s contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation and noted the growing interest of Kazakh tourists in Montenegro. The launch of direct flights between Almaty and Podgorica, as well as the introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan, has further deepened people-to-people contacts.President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also held talks with President of Ukraine H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a series of bilateral meetings on the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.The Head of State met with Prime Minister of Luxembourg H.E. Mr. Luc Frieden. The talks covered a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation. President Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan and Luxembourg have long maintained friendly and constructive relations. Particular attention was paid to enhancing trade and investment interaction, as well as to the prospects for implementing joint initiatives in the fields of digitalization and financial technologies. The two leaders agreed to intensify contacts between the business communities of both countries for these purposes.President Tokayev then held a meeting with H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco in New York. The two sides noted the dynamic development of relations between Kazakhstan and Monaco and highlighted the significant potential for expanding trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation. The Head of State invited Prince Albert II to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan.
