The Department of State Revenue for the Mangystau region informs that in the second half of 2026, updated rules for goods purchased on foreign marketplaces such as Temu, AliExpress, iHerb and others will come into force in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). What is important for citizens to know If the purchase price does not exceed 200 euros, nothing changes.:- there is no need to pay duties and taxes;- The package will be delivered as before;- you will not need to contact the customs authorities yourself.;- the declaration for the buyer will be issued by e-commerce operators.Goods purchased by individuals on foreign marketplaces will be classified into a separate category – "e-commerce goods".A new type of customs declaration is being introduced for them, the "declaration for electronic commerce goods", in which information about 999 goods of various individuals can be stated. Electronic commerce operators, a new institution in the field of customs affairs, will submit such a declaration to the customs authorities for buyers.In this case, the weight threshold (31 kg) is canceled. The duty-free limit remains at 200 euros.The changes affected expensive purchases.
