The results of the republican contest of video tutorials and video lectures "Panorama of pedagogical ideas – 2024", which started in April this year with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, have been summed up. Physical culture and sports are actively developing in the region. According to statistics, 43% of the region's population is systematically involved in sports. During the year, more than 3,000 mass sporting events were held, attracting more than 200,000 participants.The total number of sports facilities in the region has reached 1,704. During a staff meeting chaired by Akim of Aktobe region Askhat Shakharov, the issue of winter maintenance of roads was considered.Aibol Danagul, director of the Aktobe regional branch of JSC NC KazAvtoZhol, said that the length of highways of national importance is 1,869 km, of which 117 km are undergoing reconstruction. Blue Midas Stroy and Assana-DorStroy LLP are responsible for winter maintenance of the Aktobe-Astrakhan and Samara-Shymkent roads. A total of 31 units of special equipment from these companies have been involved in clearing snow from these roads. They also harvested 1,700 tons of sand and 300 tons of deicing materials. In addition, 115 units of leased equipment have been involved in the harvesting operations and tender procedures are underway to lease 34 more special vehicles.There are 15 heating points along the roads, equipped with 51 beds.There are 246 kilometers of snow-covered sections on roads of national importance in the region. Reinforced concrete fences with a length of 86 kilometers have been installed on these sites. Temporary wooden shields will be placed on the remaining sections and snow removal works will be carried out."Given the high traffic intensity on the Aktobe-Khromtau-Karabutak section, 34 km of bypass roads are being prepared in the villages of Khromtau and Karabutak to prevent traffic jams in winter. A 23-km-long bypass road with three exits to the highway is provided on the 844-863 km section of the Samara-Shymkent highway. A bypass road has been built in the Aitekebi district on sections 963-966 km and 983-985 km of the highway with a total length of 11 km with four exits," Aibol Danagul said.In turn, the head of the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways, Aybek Kayer, reported on the winter maintenance of local roads. 43 contractors are responsible for this work.The length of local highways in the region is 4.4 thousand km, they are divided into 174 sections. Of these, 13 sites are of regional significance, and 161 are of regional significance.401 vehicles are involved in the cleaning of these roads, 5.4 thousand tons of inert materials and 2.8 thousand tons of diesel fuel have been harvested.According to the head, road cleaning and sprinkling with sand-salt mixture is carried out regularly.
