Abu Dhabi, April 15, 2026 – Acting on the instruction of the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yernar Lazar, who arrived in Abu Dhabi on a working visit, was received by Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.During the meeting, the Kazakh Special Representative delivered a message from the President of Kazakhstan addressed to the UAE leader, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. An updated system of tax deductions has been introduced in Kazakhstan since 2026.Since 2026, an updated system of individual income tax deductions has been introduced in the Republic of Kazakhstan, aimed at reducing the tax burden for citizens.According to the information of the Department of State Revenue in Astana, in accordance with the current legislation, individuals have the right to apply a number of tax deductions when determining taxable income.In particular, the following types of deductions are provided:– tax deduction for social payments;– basic tax deduction;– social tax deductions.Deductions for social payments include mandatory pension contributions, contributions to compulsory social health insurance, as well as social contributions withheld from personal income, including under civil law contracts.The basic tax deduction is 30 times the monthly calculation index (MCI) for each month. In annual terms, its size should not exceed 360 MCI.Social tax deductions are provided for the following categories of citizens:– persons with disabilities of groups I and II — up to 5,000 MCI per year;– persons with disabilities of group III, children with disabilities, participants and equivalent to participants of the Great Patriotic War, veterans of military operations, as well as persons awarded orders and medals of the USSR for labor and service during the war — 882 MCI per year;– parents, guardians, guardians of children with disabilities, as well as adoptive parents and foster parents — 882 MCI per year (within the established age and term of custody).At the same time, deductions do not apply to employees of educational, healthcare and social protection organizations who perform the functions of guardians and guardians in the framework of labor relations, as well as to persons married to the parents of an adopted child.Social tax deductions are applied in the calendar year in which the basis for their provision arose.The application of tax deductions is carried out:– with a tax agent (employer);– independently by an individual, if the deductions were not applied by the tax agent.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kgd-kostanay/press/news/details/1202388?lang=kk

An international anti-crisis congress on financial recovery and bankruptcy was held in Minsk 16.04.2026
From April 14 to 16, 2026, in Minsk (Republic of Belarus), the Minsk International Anti-Crisis Congress “Paradnaya Assamblya” was held, organized for anti-crisis (arbitration) administrators, representatives of government agencies, and other participants in the field of insolvency resolution.The event was attended by representatives of the authorized body of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of bankruptcy, as well as representatives of the authorized bodies of CIS member states regulating the field of bankruptcy and the professional expert community.The main objective of the Congress was to discuss modern approaches to the financial rehabilitation of organizations, the improvement of bankruptcy procedures, the development of cross-border insolvency mechanisms, and the introduction of digital technologies into insolvency resolution processes.Thematic sessions addressed issues of harmonizing bankruptcy legislation, including the development of a model law on cross-border insolvency aimed at establishing uniform approaches to regulating procedures when assets and creditors are located in different jurisdictions.Particular attention was paid to the development of digital solutions in the field of bankruptcy, including the introduction of electronic case management for insolvency proceedings and the transition to paperless administration of procedures, which contributes to increased transparency of processes and a reduction in the administrative burden.Following the event, the experience of the Republic of Belarus in the field of corporate restructuring and financial rehabilitation, presented during the Congress, was reviewed by participants as a practical example for further study and potential application in refining national approaches.The Congress confirmed the importance of strengthening international cooperation, developing unified approaches to the regulation of insolvency proceedings, and implementing modern digital solutions in the field of crisis management.  Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/minfin/press/news/details/1202402?lang=kk

Сегодня рабочая группа депутатов под председательством председателя маслихата К.Ермекбаева ознакомилась с работой по реконструкции стадиона «Жастар» в городе Аксай.В работе комиссии приняли участие заместитель акима района М.Нурмаков, руководители районного отдела спорта, градостроительства и строительства, представители подрядной компании ТОО «Қалдығайты», авторского надзора ТОО «Міras-2019», технического надзора ТОО «Жаңа Колсалтинг LTD». Akmola Region Presented Its Tourism Potential at the 4th Belarus–Russia Tourism Congress 16.04.2026
On April 7–8, 2026, the 4th Belarus–Russia Tourism Congress and the International Tourism Forum Travel Hub “Commonwealth” were held, bringing together leading experts from the tourism industry across CIS countries.The event became an important platform for discussing current trends and future prospects in tourism development. In addition to the plenary session, the forum featured industry-specific sections focused on the development of agro- and ecotourism, gastronomic, patriotic, and business tourism, as well as issues related to экскурсионная and tour operator activities.More than 800 delegates took part in the forum, including over 80 experts representing government authorities, tour operators, the hotel and restaurant industry, investors, the banking sector, and transport companies. The geography of participants covered more than 20 regions of Russia, as well as Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.Kazakhstan was represented at the international platform by the Kazakhstan Association of Agro- and Rural Tourism. Fair of children's educational and health centers of Akmola region to be held in Astana 16.04.2026
On April 17, a bright and useful event will be held at the Al-Farabi Palace of Schoolchildren — the fair of children's educational and health centers of the Akmola region. The region is rightfully considered one of the best destinations for children's recreation: unique nature, clean air, picturesque lakes and modern centers create ideal conditions for children's health and development. The Tourism Department of Akmola region pays special attention to the organization of high-quality children's recreation, because the formation of a healthy and active generation is one of the key priorities. According to the results of the summer season of 2025, the total holiday coverage was 93% — 124,539 children, about 134,000 children were covered by all types of employment, 16 camps operated, 8 of them public and 8 private, while 2 camps operated year—round and 14 seasonally, 15,907 children rested in country camps (11.6%), which is 1,000 more children than in 2024, and the region has also received about 3,200 children from other regions. Special attention is paid to the development of interregional cooperation: On May 15, an interactive museum in the village of Burabai hosted a presentation of the region's country camps for the delegation of the Mangystau region. A tripartite memorandum on stabilizing meat prices was signed 16.04.2026
On April 15 of this year, the Ministry of Trade and Integration, together with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Union of Livestock Breeders of Kazakhstan, signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at implementing measures to stabilize beef prices.The basis of the memorandum is the mutual interest of the parties in ensuring price stability in the domestic market, preventing social tension, and increasing the social responsibility of businesses.Under the signed memorandum, the Union of Livestock Breeders of Kazakhstan has undertaken the following obligations:- to ensure the priority saturation of the domestic market with meat products and prevent shortages;- to organize the supply of at least 15% of the beef export volume to the domestic market through retail chains;to coordinate the activities of accredited exporters regarding meat supplies to the domestic market.- to ensure the supply of beef to the domestic market at a fixed producer selling price of 3,275 tenge per kg excluding value-added tax. It should be noted that the specified price is the producer's selling price and does not reflect the final cost of the product at retail. The formation of the retail price is additionally influenced by associated costs, including transportation, storage, loading and unloading operations, as well as other operational expenses incurred on the way from the producer to the point of sale.In turn, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of the memorandum, considers industry proposals when forming state policy, and also, subject to the full supply of the domestic market, the possibility of increasing export quotas in accordance with the established procedure.The Ministry of Trade and Integration monitors prices in the domestic market, coordinates interaction with retail chains, facilitates the conclusion of direct supply contracts between producers and retail outlets, and controls compliance with the permissible level of trade markup.The memorandum aims to form a transparent and predictable market, reduce price fluctuations, and provide the population with affordable meat products.The implementation of the reached agreements will maintain a balance between developing the industry's export potential and ensuring the supply of the domestic market.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mti/press/news/details/1202499?lang=kk

Halyk Bank's Board Chairperson Umut Shayakhmetova, who arrived on a working visit to the Kostanay Region, held a meeting with the region's business community and partners.The meeting discussed issues of strengthening partnerships with entrepreneurs, supporting business expansion into new markets, and developing modern financial instruments that contribute to the region's sustainable economic development.During the meeting, the Akim (Governor) of the Kostanay Region reported that in the first quarter of this year alone, the volume of credit investments by second-tier banks in the region's economic sectors amounted to 119.1 billion tenge.The largest share of loans issued went to the trade sector — 16.1% of the total volume, to industry — 15.9%, and to the construction sector — 2.7%. Loans totaling 30.4 billion tenge were issued for the development of small business entities, which is 15.8% more compared to the same period last year."The deposit base of the region's banks grew by 20.7% over the year and reached 1.2 trillion tenge. At the same time, 80% of the deposit market consists of household deposits. The level of deposit dollarization was 8.3%, having decreased by 3.6 percentage points compared to the same period in 2025. Заместитель Премьер-министра – министр национальной экономики  Серик Жумангарин провел в Вашингтоне встречу с вице-президентом Всемирного Банка по региону Европы и Центральной Азии Антонеллой Бассани и представителями Группы Всемирного банка.Встреча состоялась в рамках подготовки к презентации инвестиционных возможностей Казахстана, которая запланирована в рамках визита казахстанской делегации в США.В ходе встречи отмечено, что Казахстан высоко ценит сложившееся стратегическое партнерство, основанное на доверии, профессионализме и общей приверженности устойчивому развитию. За период 1993–2026 годов в рамках сотрудничества реализовано более 50 проектов на сумму свыше 8 млрд долларов США в сферах транспорта, образования, экологии, «зеленых» технологий и цифровизации.Всемирный банк продолжает играть важную роль в продвижении экономических реформ, развитии инфраструктуры, а также обеспечении макроэкономической и фискальной устойчивости страны.Серик Жумангарин подчеркнул, что одной из ключевых недавних реформ Казахстана стала бюджетно-налоговая реформа, эффективность которой уже подтверждается итогами первого квартала текущего года: доходы госбюджета без учета трансфертов составили 6,4 трлн тенге, что на 931 млрд тенге больше показателя прошлого года.Отмечено, что приоритетные направления сотрудничества, определенные в новой Рамочной стратегии партнерства на 2026–2030 годы, соответствуют стратегическим целям Казахстана. В Вашингтоне подписано соглашение по проекту автодороги «Караганда – Жезказган» 15.04.2026
Во время визита казахстанской делегации в Вашингтон в штаб-квартире Всемирного банка подписано соглашение о финансировании строительства автодороги «Караганда – Жезказган».Соглашение заключено между АО «НК «КазАвтоЖол», Международный банк реконструкции и развития и Азиатский банк инфраструктурных инвестиций.Проект направлен на развитие транспортной инфраструктуры, повышение транзитного потенциала и улучшение связности регионов. Ожидается, что новая дорога позволит заметно сократить время в пути, повысить безопасность движения и даст дополнительный импульс развитию Центрального Казахстана.В настоящее время конкурсные процедуры находятся на завершающей стадии. Протяженность дороги составит 457 км, сумма займа – 650 млрд тенге.
