The Kazakhstan Road Research Institute (KazdorNII) is testing the technology of "warm asphalt" on highways of national importance. The use of this mixture can significantly reduce energy consumption at the stages of preparation and compaction of asphalt, reducing costs and environmental impact.The Institute's specialists also emphasize that the complex additive helps to improve the adhesion between binders and mineral materials. This allows not only to reduce the cooking temperature, but also to ensure high strength and wear resistance of the coating.Laboratory tests of KazdorNIA in Almaty confirmed that the physical and mechanical properties of the warm asphalt concrete mixture correspond to the indicators of standard hot asphalt concrete. Moreover, the new mixture demonstrates increased water resistance and retains strength at low temperatures, which makes it more resistant to harsh climatic conditions. The possibility of laying at 90 degrees without loss of compaction coefficient will be an important advantage for road works in the cold season.The Institute tested the technology on sections of the Kurty-Burylbaytal highway of national importance. The Department of Public Health told about the measures taken to improve the infrastructure of social facilities in Almaty.Thus, in August of this year, for the first time in Kazakhstan, an early Intervention Center was established on the basis of interdepartmental interaction to reduce disability among children (up to 3 years old). 2 primary health care centers and 1 polyclinic have been opened, as well as a new building of the Center for Children's Emergency Medical Care.By the end of 2024, the development of design estimates for the construction of 2 new polyclinics and the modernization of 5 large hospitals will be completed. Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Nurzhan Nurzhigitov met with Deputy Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Kazakhstan Askar Namazbayev. The parties discussed current joint projects and further cooperation.Thus, the Ministry and the EBRD are working on the implementation of 53 projects for the reconstruction of water facilities in Aktobe, Zhambyl and Turkestan regions. To date, 19 projects have been fully completed. By the end of the year, it is planned to complete 23 more, of which 17 will be put into operation.Work on the remaining projects is scheduled to be completed next year."We intend to continue cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
