During the visit, an ore mining quarry, a primary crushing site, a sulfide ore processing plant and a tailings warehouse were examined. The meeting was organized on behalf of the prime minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov. Its goal is to develop new mechanisms for the formation of priority areas for the development of scientific and technical activities, to address the demands and needs of the real economy, and to improve cooperation between science and business. The event gathered representatives of the business and industrial circles of the two countries, confirming the high level of bilateral cooperation and the desire to further strengthen business ties.Minister of Industry and construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Sharlapayev made a speech at which he noted the dynamic development of the Kazakh-French industrial partnership, as well as the importance of France as one of the main economic and trade partners of the country.
