Astana, 20 June 2025  — The Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with NC "KAZAKH INVEST" JSC, held an acceleration session in Astana focused on improving the investment climate and eliminating barriers in the hydrogen energy sector. The event aimed to identify systemic issues hindering the implementation of investment projects in the hydrogen industry and to develop concrete recommendations.The session was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alibek Kuantyrov, Vice Minister of Energy Bakytzhan Ilyas, Members of the Mazhilis of the Parliament, and representatives of industry associations and leading companies, including Hyrasia One, BEES Energy (Seraphim Energy Group), Alatau Green Energy, Air Liquide, Linde Gas, Alstom, Green Spark Limited, Wabtec, among others.Participants highlighted key challenges facing the development of hydrogen energy in Kazakhstan and expressed their interest in jointly working on solutions. To date, on pilot fields in six farms of Akmola Region, under the scientific supervision of the scientists of the A.I. Baraev SPC for Grain Farming, work has been carried out to determine the initial soil fertility based on the content of soil nutrients, pre-sowing field surveys, the development of production sowing plans using new technologies, preparation of seed material, and microbiological analysis. Service members of military unit 5547 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, stationed in Kyzylorda, were the first to respond and assist residents caught in a residential fire.While on patrol, the military unit received a call from the police’s operational control center reporting a fire in a residential building in the “Eski Bazar” district.
