T.Ospankulov informed about the improvement of the work of the medical and social expertise service 04.07.2025
Tolegen Ospankulov, Chairman of the Committee for Regulation and Control in the Field of Social Protection of the Population of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan, spoke at a briefing in the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan about the current changes in the medical and social expertise service and the measures taken to improve the quality of services provided.⠀According to him, the Ministry of Labor is currently carrying out large-scale work to transform approaches to disability identification.⠀"At the center of this reform is the introduction of a proactive correspondence format for the ITU. The point is to make the process of assigning a disability group as easy as possible for citizens – to make it accessible, convenient, expeditious, and most importantly, objective and fair," Tolegen Ospankulov emphasized.⠀The new format allows citizens not to undergo an in-person examination for certain diagnoses (30 nosological forms), provided there is complete and reliable medical information transmitted digitally by a medical organization.⠀The correspondence format is being implemented not only as part of digitalization, but also as a response to systemic problems in the ITU service, such as staff shortages in remote regions, high expert workload and the need to reduce bureaucratic barriers. It allows you to redistribute the workload between regions through the work of extraterritorial experts.⠀"The reform is aimed at increasing public confidence in the ITU service and the social protection system as a whole, reducing corruption risks and creating a truly customer–oriented model for disability," the speaker added.⠀By the end of 2024, the share of disability group assignment services provided in a proactive correspondence format amounted to 37.4% (96.9 thousand applications), with a target of 35%. As of July 1, 2025, this figure reached 39.3% (51.8 thousand applications).⠀Read more on the website at the link in the profile header.https://www.youtube.com/live/qA0LlAgmaQs?si=_TeaRXbv9STMswQRSource : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/enbek-atyrau/press/news/details/1030030?lang=kk
Qatar's investments in Kazakhstan have grown almost 18 times - from $9 to $156 million 04.07.2025
The seventh meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State of Qatar was held in Astana. The meeting was co-chaired by Vice Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Kasenov and Minister of State for International Trade of Qatar Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed.During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation and expressed gratitude for the effective work of the Committee as a sustainable dialogue platform. The need to intensify joint efforts to realize the common potential of the two countries, strengthen trade and economic ties and develop partnerships between business circles was emphasized.Particular attention at the meeting was paid to transport and logistics. Kazakhstan considers the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route as a strategic direction and plans to increase the volume of container traffic to 500 thousand per year by 2030. In parallel, measures are being implemented to expand the international corridor "North - South", which opens up new logistics opportunities. In this context, the participants noted the importance of joint development of the Middle Corridor, including the modernization of port infrastructure on the Caspian Sea and the construction of cargo terminals. The Kazakh side invited Qatari investors to consider the possibility of participating in these projects.Kazakh-Qatari investment cooperation is reaching a new level. Let us recall that last year, at the initiative of the leaders of the two states, an Intergovernmental Agreement on Long-Term Strategic Partnership was signed. The document provides for the implementation of investment projects in non-resource sectors for a total of about $20 billion - in the fields of energy, telecommunications and finance.Significant progress has already been noted in this direction this year: the volume of direct investment from Qatar to Kazakhstan in 2024 increased 18 times compared to 2023 - from $8.9 million to $156.4 million. The Kazakh side once again confirmed its readiness to provide comprehensive support to Qatari investors in the implementation of projects.A separate area of discussion was the development of the agro-industrial complex. Kazakhstan already exports agricultural products to more than 80 countries and aims to further increase its export potential. Thus, in 2024 alone, lamb and goat meat worth more than $750 thousand was exported to Qatar. The parties agreed to intensify the exchange of information on veterinary and sanitary requirements, as well as expand cooperation in the supply of halal and organic products. The parties also expressed interest in developing cooperation between the free economic zones of the two countries and called on relevant departments, as well as business circles of Kazakhstan and Qatar, to take the opportunity to visit these sites to exchange experiences and identify potential areas of cooperation.Following the meeting, the protocol of the seventh meeting of the Kazakh-Qatari joint committee was signed. The next, eighth meeting of the Joint Committee will be held in Doha, the capital of the State of Qatar.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mfa-doha/press/news/details/1030977?lang=kk

SRC introduced a “red button” system for prompt response to problems in obtaining tax services 04.07.2025
The positive experience of introducing the mechanism of “red button” in the field of customs services, successfully applied since April this year at customs posts and customs clearance centers, has shown high efficiency in providing feedback and solving problematic issues on the ground. In this regard, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues to scale the human-centered approach and work to improve the quality of public services in the field of taxation. For this purpose in all state revenue authorities there is a “red button” - QR code, having scanned which, taxpayers can directly address the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee by indicating a specific problematic situation. It is important to note that the “red button” is designed exclusively for reporting difficulties arising in receiving tax and customs services and is an instrument of anti-corruption policy, aimed at revealing and preventing abuses, manifestations of bad faith or incorrect behavior on the part of employees. The appeal form is simple and intuitive and can be filled out in a few minutes. If necessary, the user can leave a request anonymously. We strive for an open and honest dialog with citizens and the business community. Every appeal received will be considered as soon as possible, and appropriate response measures will be taken in each case.We urge all those who face obstacles or unsatisfactory service in obtaining public services to take advantage of this opportunity.Your voice is important for building an efficient, transparent and customer-oriented system of tax and customs administration. Only by joint efforts of the state and society can we improve the quality of service and the level of trust.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kgd-zhetysu/press/news/details/1100177?lang=kk
