Jakarta, May 14–15, 2025 – The Kazakh delegation, headed by Member of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Amangeldy Tolamisov, took part in the 19th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) in Jakarta.During the session, key issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation, strengthening collaboration among OIC member states, and current challenges facing the Islamic world were discussed. Thanks to the vigilance and swift actions of servicemen of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with staff from Penal Institution No. 28 of the Penal Correction System in the West Kazakhstan Region, an attempt to deliver prohibited items into a secured facility was successfully thwarted.During a routine inspection of a package using X-ray equipment, the servicemen detected signs of concealed prohibited items. On May 16, 2025, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional seminar for teachers of East Kazakhstan region, Astana and Almaty cities, and Kyzylorda region. An intellectual quiz game dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk, East Kazakhstan region. The event was attended by youth representatives, students and volunteers who showed great interest in issues of law and legality. The main purpose of the event was to promote the ideology of "Law and Order" among young people, as well as to form a legal culture and improve legal literacy. The game has become an important platform for expanding knowledge in the field of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and current legislation. During the quiz, the participants solved problems related to the Basic Law of the country, industry regulations, as well as legislation in the field of anti-corruption. The questions were designed in such a way as not only to test theoretical knowledge, but also to stimulate analytical thinking and teamwork.
