Since the beginning of the year, pensions worth 346 billion tenge have been paid to Kazakhstanis 15.02.2025
Since the beginning of the year, pensions in the amount of 346 billion tenge have been paid from the republican budget, including 111.8 billion tenge for the payment of basic pensions, and 234.2 billion tenge for the payment of solidarity pensions. As of February 1, 2025, the number of pensioners was 2 million 445 thousand people. As of February 1, 2025, the average amount of the total pension was 143,248 tenge, including the solidarity pension amount - 95,789 tenge, and the basic pension - 47,459 tenge. As previously reported, on January 1, 2025, the amount of the basic pension payment was increased by 6.5% in accordance with the forecast inflation rate determined by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the solidarity pension increased by 8.5%, i.e. 2% above the inflation rate.In addition, by order of the Head of State, starting from 2023, within five years, the minimum basic pension will be gradually increased annually to 70% of the minimum subsistence level, and the maximum - to 120%.For example, starting from January 1, 2025, the minimum amount of the basic pension has been increased from 65% to 70% of the minimum subsistence level, which is 32,360 tenge, and its maximum amount has been increased from 105 to 110% of the minimum subsistence level, amounting to 50,851 tenge. We remind you that starting from July 1, 2018, the state basic pension payment will be assigned individually to each recipient, taking into account the length of service in the pension system. At the same time, since 1998 As of January 1, the period of work in the solidarity system, as well as the periods of payment of mandatory pension contributions (hereinafter referred to as the MZH), are included in the length of service in the pension system. If a citizen's length of service in the pension system is 10 years or less, or if there is no length of service at all, the basic pension is equal to 70% of the subsistence minimum, and then its amount increases by 2% for each year exceeding 10 years. And if your length of service is 20 years, the basic pension is 90% of the subsistence minimum. If the length of service is 30 years or more, the maximum subsistence level is set at 110%.If mandatory pension contributions are transferred to the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund several times during one month, the period of participation in the accumulation system is one month. Thus, the more regularly and fully mandatory pension contributions are transferred, the higher the amount of basic pension payments upon reaching retirement age.In turn, the amount of pension payments depending on the age of a citizen depends on the length of service as of January 1, 1998 (at least 6 months are required) and the average monthly income in the period before retirement.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/enbek/press/news/details/937770
