Kasym-Jomart Tokayev:"Today, at an expanded meeting of the Government, we will address very relevant issues. The reason is well known to all of us. The world is currently undergoing fundamental changes. It is clear that global processes, first of all, will affect the economic situation in our country. The era of mass digitalization, that is, a new technological stage, has begun. The whole world lives in completely different conditions. We must be ready for it. We must keep up with the new technological situation. This is a very important factor that will increase the competitiveness of our country and pave the way for its sustainable development. We will first assess the effectiveness of the work of the government and akims based on economic development indicators and the quality of life of citizens. What was the result of this work last year? Have the main tasks been accomplished? Today, we will focus on these questions and discuss urgent issues that need to be resolved in the near future."Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mangystau/press/news/details/925941

From the expanded session of the Government chaired by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev 01.02.2025
President:"Although the situation abroad is difficult, there are good results in our country. The country's economy is growing. But there are still many unresolved problems. The main problem today is the following. Tariff disputes and sanctions confrontations in the world economy have become the norm. The consequences of this process can be devastating.Climate-related positions are also undergoing major changes. In such a situation, it will be necessary to reconsider the methods of developing "green energy". On the one hand, the demand for traditional energy sources will remain. On the other hand, this will lead to instability in the prices of oil, gas and coal.Cryptocurrencies and other digital assets have become widely used in the financial sector. The development of artificial intelligence has come to the fore, and in connection with this, competition between technologically advanced giants will intensify. There are many challenges of the new era. We need an appropriate strategy to overcome them" Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mangystau/press/news/details/925954

President: It is necessary to accelerate the development of the railway corridor passing through Kazakhstan 01.02.2025
President:“Now let’s focus on the transport and logistics infrastructure. Transit is our huge advantage in international competition for freight transportation. We must use it fully and effectively. It is necessary to accelerate the development of the railway corridor passing through Kazakhstan. This project will be a key part of the Trans-Caspian route. A number of important projects in this direction are currently being implemented. We must take precautions and continue the work without stopping.I instruct to begin construction of a new railway in the “Moyintsy – Kyzylzhar” direction. It is also necessary to modernize the busiest sections of the railway from Kyzylzhar station to the port of Aktau. It is also necessary to expand the “Altynkol – Zhetygen” railway. This will significantly increase the potential of the transport corridor between China and Central Asia. In addition, it is important to complete the projects for digitizing railway transport in a timely manner. It is necessary to pay special attention to the development of multimodal transport hubs. This will create an opportunity to integrate all types of transport. "Large-scale work should be carried out in this direction this year and next year."Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mangystau/press/news/details/926039

Head of State: Tourism should be an industry that gives a new impetus to economic growth 01.02.2025
"The next urgent issue is tourism. Tourism should be a sector that gives a new impetus to economic growth. We are lagging behind in this direction, and work is progressing slowly. There are beautiful places in every region of our country. Tourists from abroad and within the country want to visit our unique reserves. But we do not have enough conditions for the development of active and large-scale tourism. Therefore, it is necessary to immediately begin work on building the necessary infrastructure, attracting private investors. We should not be led by those who oppose any initiative to strengthen the investment potential of the tourism industry. You know, such a situation happened in Mangistau with the famous Bozzhyra. The government and local authorities should take more bold measures to improve the business climate. It is not for nothing that I put the issue of attracting investment to the economy at the top of the list. This is also of great strategic importance. The future of our economy and the place of our country on the world map depend, first of all, on this"t.me/aqorda_resmiSource : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/tsm/press/news/details/926353
