On January 30, the eighteenth extraordinary session of the regional maslikhat was held with the participation of the akim of Mangystau region Nurdaulet Kilybay. At the meeting, the head of the region raised a number of important issues, including proposals to conduct free internships for 100 students in Turkey, send medical workers to advanced training courses abroad, and remove public utilities from the competitive environment and transfer them to the balance of local akimats.During the session, the head of the health department Bekbolat Izbasarov provided information on social support measures aimed at improving the quality of medical services in the region. According to him, the region currently lacks 280 doctors. The main reasons for the shortage of personnel are the insufficient social support provided to invited specialists and the shortage of qualified doctors.- Currently, specialists are provided with a lump sum allowance of 100 MCI and a budget loan within the framework of the “Diploma to the village” program. In 2024, 198 places were allocated under the regional grant. In addition, 24 qualified doctors have been invited to the region, and apartments or dormitories are being rented for 33 specialists in the region. 3 million tenge is being provided as support to doctors arriving in Aktau, 5 million tenge to doctors arriving in Zhanaozen, and 8.5 million tenge to doctors arriving in the districts, - said Bekbolat Izbasarov.Summing up the session, the regional governor Nurdaulet Kilybay noted a number of initiatives aimed at the development of the region.- This week, an expanded meeting of the Government was held under the chairmanship of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich Tokayev. The President emphasized the importance of developing infrastructure and promoting tourism in the Mangistau region. In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, we will work in this direction. In addition, we plan to conduct free internships in Turkey for 100 students in the field of tourism and improve the qualifications of doctors. It is being considered to take municipal services in the city, in particular street cleaning and landscaping, out of the competitive environment and transfer them to the balance of the Aktau city akimat.Perhaps we should increase the funding you have proposed to attract qualified medical specialists to the region, and we should also consider the issue of housing construction. There is a lot of work to be done, and major projects are ahead. I think we will work together with you in this responsible matter, - said Nurdaulet Kilybay.Press service of the akim of Mangystau regionSource : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mangystau/press/news/details/928725

In September 2022, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev launched the “National Fund for Children” initiative as part of his Address to the People of Kazakhstan “A Just State. A United Nation. A Prosperous Society”. As part of this initiative, $129.38 was transferred to Kazakhstani children under the age of 18 in 2025.Caring for the rising generation is one of the priority areas of state policy. For example, the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is aimed at improving the well-being of young citizens, as well as creating comprehensive conditions for their education and success. Starting from 2024, Kazakhstani children will receive annual transfers from the National Fund, including investment income, until they reach the age of 18. "We are improving the quality of life of our citizens and laying the foundation for a better future for our children," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main mission of the "National Fund for Children" project is to provide each child with their share of the national wealth by saving financial resources through the formation of savings for future generations. In 2024, 6,919,131 people participated in this program (including children born in 2006-2023), and $100.52 was transferred to each of their accounts. The savings are transferred to accounts in the National Pension Fund, and project respondents can spend the appropriate amount on improving housing conditions and (or) education by applying through the applications of authorized operators (Otbasy Bank and Halyk Bank). As of January 1, 2025, 66,571 applications were submitted for this purpose, of which 53,001 applications for a total amount of $5,316.7 thousand were implemented. 34,388 applications were submitted to improve housing conditions, of which 29,542 were implemented, and $2,964,000 was paid. 32,183 applications were submitted for education, of which 23,459 applications were satisfied, and $2,352.7 thousand was paid. This year, 6,921,035 children are participating in the program (children born from 2007 to 2024). Kasym-Jomart Tokayev:"Today, at an expanded meeting of the Government, we will address very relevant issues. The reason is well known to all of us. The world is currently undergoing fundamental changes. It is clear that global processes, first of all, will affect the economic situation in our country. The era of mass digitalization, that is, a new technological stage, has begun. The whole world lives in completely different conditions. We must be ready for it. We must keep up with the new technological situation. This is a very important factor that will increase the competitiveness of our country and pave the way for its sustainable development. We will first assess the effectiveness of the work of the government and akims based on economic development indicators and the quality of life of citizens. What was the result of this work last year? Have the main tasks been accomplished? From the expanded session of the Government chaired by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev 01.02.2025
President:"Although the situation abroad is difficult, there are good results in our country. The country's economy is growing. But there are still many unresolved problems. The main problem today is the following. Tariff disputes and sanctions confrontations in the world economy have become the norm. The consequences of this process can be devastating.Climate-related positions are also undergoing major changes. In such a situation, it will be necessary to reconsider the methods of developing "green energy". On the one hand, the demand for traditional energy sources will remain. On the other hand, this will lead to instability in the prices of oil, gas and coal.Cryptocurrencies and other digital assets have become widely used in the financial sector. The development of artificial intelligence has come to the fore, and in connection with this, competition between technologically advanced giants will intensify. There are many challenges of the new era. We need an appropriate strategy to overcome them" Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mangystau/press/news/details/925954
President: It is necessary to accelerate the development of the railway corridor passing through Kazakhstan 01.02.2025
President:“Now let’s focus on the transport and logistics infrastructure. Transit is our huge advantage in international competition for freight transportation. We must use it fully and effectively. It is necessary to accelerate the development of the railway corridor passing through Kazakhstan. This project will be a key part of the Trans-Caspian route. A number of important projects in this direction are currently being implemented. We must take precautions and continue the work without stopping.I instruct to begin construction of a new railway in the “Moyintsy – Kyzylzhar” direction. It is also necessary to modernize the busiest sections of the railway from Kyzylzhar station to the port of Aktau. It is also necessary to expand the “Altynkol – Zhetygen” railway. This will significantly increase the potential of the transport corridor between China and Central Asia. In addition, it is important to complete the projects for digitizing railway transport in a timely manner. It is necessary to pay special attention to the development of multimodal transport hubs. This will create an opportunity to integrate all types of transport. "Large-scale work should be carried out in this direction this year and next year."Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/mangystau/press/news/details/926039
Head of State: Tourism should be an industry that gives a new impetus to economic growth 01.02.2025
"The next urgent issue is tourism. Tourism should be a sector that gives a new impetus to economic growth. We are lagging behind in this direction, and work is progressing slowly. There are beautiful places in every region of our country. Tourists from abroad and within the country want to visit our unique reserves. But we do not have enough conditions for the development of active and large-scale tourism. Therefore, it is necessary to immediately begin work on building the necessary infrastructure, attracting private investors. We should not be led by those who oppose any initiative to strengthen the investment potential of the tourism industry. You know, such a situation happened in Mangistau with the famous Bozzhyra. The government and local authorities should take more bold measures to improve the business climate. It is not for nothing that I put the issue of attracting investment to the economy at the top of the list. This is also of great strategic importance. The future of our economy and the place of our country on the world map depend, first of all, on this"t.me/aqorda_resmiSource : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/tsm/press/news/details/926353
