AI-Mektep is a next-generation educational platform based on artificial intelligence, designed to prepare school students for exams (UNT) and develop modern learning skills. The project combines a digital AI platform and an educational space where students can study subjects at their own pace with the help of a virtual AI mentor. The platform offers interactive lessons, video and audio explanations, automatic test generation, and learning progress analytics. Kazakh companies, during a business mission in Ulaanbaatar, signed export contracts with Mongolia totaling $62.6 million. The Kazakh delegation was led by First Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aizhan Bizhanova. "We view Mongolia as a promising direction for expanding non-resource exports. The high share of finished products in supplies and the interest of businesses confirm that we are no longer dealing with a trial market, but with an emerging, stable trade direction," noted Aizhan Bizhanova during the business forum in Ulaanbaatar. By the end of 2025, trade turnover between the countries had tripled. Moreover, over 90% of supplies consist of non-resource finished goods, including food products and industrial goods. This export structure indicates a gradual shift from a raw materials model to supplying products with higher added value. According to the Vice Minister, an additional impetus for cooperation could be provided by the Interim Trade Agreement between the EAEU and Mongolia, covering approximately 367 commodity items. The document envisages reducing barriers and expanding market access, creating new conditions for exporters and launching joint projects. "Work is currently underway for it to enter into force, and we expect this to happen in the near future. For our companies, this means more opportunities for export and launching joint projects," she added. A logical continuation of the cooperation is the utilization of Kazakhstan's transit potential. This opens up opportunities for Mongolia to diversify export routes, reduce product delivery times, and expand access to the markets of the EAEU, the Caucasus, Turkey, and the European Union. Kazakhstan thus strengthens its position as a key transit hub for bringing products to external markets. The final stage of the student project competition “CYCLELAB: Ecology of the Future” is taking place in Astana. The event is organized by the Association of Secondary Raw Materials Recyclers of Kazakhstan and JSC “Zhasyl Damu,” co-organized by L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, with the support of the general sponsor, Bank CenterCredit. Following the first stage, 10 best projects were selected by an expert commission out of 31 submitted applications.Students aged 16 to 30 from colleges and universities of Astana, Akmola, and Karaganda regions participated in the competition. Participants presented projects in key areas of sustainable development, including waste recycling technologies, solutions for separate waste collection, smart sorting systems, eco-design of packaging, digital logistics tools, and environmental education.Based on the evaluation of the expert jury, three winners will be selected from among the 10 finalists — the authors of the most promising and well-developed projects. Речь идет об уменьшении нагрузки на государственный бюджет за счёт перераспределения расходов на более срочные и социально-ориентированные проекты.Документ предусматривает применение норм, отличных от национального законодательства, при реализации займов под государственную гарантию и грантовых проектов. On March 17 of this year, the Department of Control and Documentation Support of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as part of the implementation of the 2026 Action Plan for the implementation of the Concept for the Development of Language Policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023–2029, held a seminar on the topic "Features of Preparing Documents in the State Language."Newly hired civil servants of the Ministry participated in this seminar. Furthermore, employees of territorial subdivisions participated online.During the seminar, participants were briefed on issues related to expanding the scope of use of the state language, as well as the principles of correct and proper formatting of official documents in the state language. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues systematic work on implementation of international standards for information disclosure in the field of sustainable development - IFRS S1 and S2. Today a meeting of the interdepartmental working group took place.Reference: IFRSs S1 and S2 are new international reporting rules. Thanks to which the business will be obliged to disclose the impact of the company's activities on the environment and society, as well as what climate threats can affect the business itself.The main issue on the agenda of the meeting was implementation of the Roadmap for the phased implementation of IFRS S1 and S2 in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2027-2028. The document was prepared jointly with the United Nations Development Program and includes 37 activities that determine consistent steps to form a regulatory, institutional and methodological framework for the implementation of standards in Kazakhstan.During the meeting, the working group considered the parameters of the future application of standards, including the definition of the date for the start of mandatory application of standards, the establishment of criteria and thresholds for the selection of organizations to be subject to requirements, the formation of approaches to the audit of reports prepared in accordance with IFRS S1 and S2, as well as the development of measures to ensure compliance with standards."The introduction of IFRS S1 and S2 will be an important stage in the development of Kazakhstan's corporate reporting system. This will improve the quality of the information disclosed, increase attention to sustainable development issues and create additional conditions for increasing the investment attractiveness of the country. Министерство национальной экономики РК обновило перечень моногородов страны. Соответствующие изменения внесены в приказ Министра национальной экономики РК от 21 ноября 2023 года №248 «Об утверждении Перечня моногородов Республики Казахстан».Согласно приказу заместителя Премьер-Министра – министра национальной экономики РК от 10 марта 2026 года №75 город Экибастуз исключен из перечня моногородов.Обновление перечня проведено во исполнение поручения Главы государства, озвученного в Послании народу Казахстана от 2 сентября 2024 года. В документе была поставлена задача масштабировать успешный опыт диверсификации экономики города Сарани для развития других моногородов страны.В рамках данной работы Министерством национальной экономики проведен комплексный анализ социально-экономического развития моногородов по 78 ключевым показателям, включая динамику промышленного производства, инвестиционную активность, развитие предпринимательства, структуру занятости и другие параметры устойчивости экономики.По результатам анализа установлено, что Экибастуз демонстрирует устойчивые тенденции диверсификации экономики и постепенный выход за рамки монопрофильной модели развития. Экономика города характеризуется более сбалансированной отраслевой структурой, стабильным ростом промышленности и высокой инвестиционной активностью.На сегодняшний день Экибастуз является важным промышленным центром, играющим ключевую роль в энергетической и металлургической отраслях страны. По итогам 2025 года объем промышленного производства в городе составил 1 629,4 млрд тенге, что на 28,1% больше по сравнению с аналогичным периодом 2024 года. Инвестиции в основной капитал достигли 429,8 млрд тенге, увеличившись в 1,2 раза по сравнению с показателем предыдущего года.Занятость населения распределена между несколькими секторами экономики, что свидетельствует о снижении зависимости от одного градообразующего предприятия и утрате признаков монофункциональности. В этой связи, с учетом положительных социально-экономических показателей принято решение об исключении Экибастуза из перечня моногородов.Обновленным приказом утвержден перечень из 19 моногородов: Абай, Аксай, Аксу, Алтай, Балхаш, Жанаозен, Житикара, Лисаковск, Каражал, Кентау, Кульсары, Курчатов, Риддер, Рудный, Сатпаев, Степногорск, Темиртау, Шахтинск и Хромтау.
