Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Participated in the 51st Session of the OIC Ministerial Council 25.06.2025
Istanbul, June 21, 2025 – Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu participated in the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.During the meeting, the heads of delegations discussed measures to resolve various politico-military and humanitarian crises in the OIC area, calling for a speedy resolution of the Iran-Israeli armed conflict and an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.The agenda of the forum, held under the slogan “OIC in a Changing World”, also included issues related to further reforming the Organization, strengthening multifaceted cooperation between the participating countries, the situation of Muslim minorities in the world, disarmament and Islamophobia.In his speech, the Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of de-escalation of the situation around Iran and called for the opening of humanitarian corridors for the delivery of food and medicine to the Gaza Strip.“Kazakhstan reaffirms its firm support for the efforts of the international community to stabilize the situation and ensure security in the region and reiterates its call for an immediate ceasefire and unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza,” Minister Nurtleu said.In addition, the Kazakh Foreign Minister voiced a number of proposals aimed at strengthening the role of the OIC in the international arena, and expressed the readiness of Kazakhstan to contribute to this process.During the 51st session of the Ministerial Council, more than 100 resolutions will be considered and adopted in various areas, including political, economic, legal, humanitarian, administrative and financial issues. As a result of recent U.S. military actions against Iran, the international situation is rapidly deteriorating with dangerous ramifications for the security of countries in our part of the world.Kazakhstan is a Caspian littoral state and develops cooperation with Iran in various spheres. Вице-министр цифрового развития, инноваций и аэрокосмической промышленности РК Досжан Мусалиев принял участие на четвертом совещании руководителей министерств и ведомств государств-членов ШОС, ответственных за развитие информационно-коммуникационных технологий (ИКТ). Мероприятие прошло 17 июня в городе Карамай, Синьцзян-Уйгурского автономного района КНР.На совещании приняли участие главы министерств, курирующих развитие ИКТ, из Китая, Кыргызстана, Узбекистана, Таджикистана, Казахстана, Беларуси, России, Пакистана, а также представители стран-наблюдателей ШОС — Турции и Азербайджана.Участники обменялись передовым опытом в сфере ИКТ, успешными кейсами цифровизации экономики государств ШОС, обсудили вызовы и перспективы цифрового развития, а также планы по внедрению новых технологий.Особое внимание было уделено проблеме «цифрового разрыва» между странами и социальными группами. For the last three years, in the region, 441 billion tenge was allocated for the development of medicine. Within the framework of the state program “Modernization of rural health care” initiated by the President of the country, 28 facilities have been put into operation. In addition, additional buildings have been erected to the central multidisciplinary hospitals of four district centers. In the regional center, a 300-bed multidisciplinary hospital with an oncology department and a polyclinic is under construction. Over the last three years, 24 health care facilities have been overhauled. Medical institutions in rural areas are fully equipped with ambulances.At the recent international scientific-practical conference held in Kyzylorda, it was announced about the construction of a residential building for 100 apartments for medical workers, which indicates the social support of specialists, including will contribute to attracting the necessary personnel to the region. The new house will be built by the end of this year.Special attention is paid to the professional development of specialists. Thus, last year 15 doctors were trained in Turkey; this year 41 specialists have improved their qualifications in the best clinics in Germany, Lithuania, Belarus and Russia.Meanwhile, extrabudgetary funds have recently been attracted to the health care of the region. Thus, the public fund “Kazakhstan Halkyna” has allocated more than four billion tenge for the implementation of projects in the field of medicine for two years. Rehabilitation centers “Kamkorlyk” on the basis of the regional children's hospital, in Zhanakorgan district were opened at the expense of these funds. In the near future, such a center will be opened in the Aralsk district. Also at the expense of the fund were purchased medicines for the treatment of rare diseases; the regional oncology center was provided with a mobile medical complex for screening. Such complexes operate today only in three regions of the country.The ceremony of awarding the best representatives of health care of the region took place within the framework of the celebration. In the Karaganda region, on the basis of a new enterprise, Kazakhstan Hot-dip Galvanizing Plant LLP, it is planned to launch a cluster of industries using corrosion coating on manufactured products for stability and extended service life up to 50 years. In particular, a plant for the production of poles for high-voltage power lines will be opened.The management of Kazakhstan Hot-dip Galvanizing Plant LLP announced the completion of the technical stage of the enterprise's commissioning. The project is being implemented at the expense of own funds and debt financing from the Baiterek Foundation.- The total land area is 9 hectares, the production area is 6.5 thousand square meters. The planned number of employees is 115 people, the production capacity is 50 thousand tons of products per year. In the future, we are considering the possibility of expanding production to 70 thousand tons. It is also planned to develop a cluster of enterprises and open additional production facilities, which need hot-dip galvanizing at the last stage. Medical organizations of Kostanay region received sanitary vehicles 25.06.2025
