Libraries in Almaty have Braille displays that display text in tactile format, printers that print in Braille are available, devices for increasing and changing the contrast of texts, scanners that allow you to read text and play it in audio format and convert it into audio, high-quality audio headphones for comfortable listening to audiobooks, as well as computers equipped with adapted software security. This work was carried out to ensure inclusive access to books and other educational materials for the visually impaired and blind. The advantage of the project is that visually impaired citizens work at special workstations. Experts are ready to help readers learn how to use the equipment, help them find the necessary information, provide resources for training and self-development, give advice and support device configuration."Our main goal is to ensure that all citizens have access to education. We strive to make libraries an inclusive space where everyone can learn and develop. The mayor of the city sets himself the task of making Almaty a fair and exemplary city that cares about every resident. We are actively implementing initiatives that achieve this goal, including in the field of culture.
