The construction of the "Central-West" transport corridor leading to the TSHKB has begun 21.06.2025
Construction of the "Central-West" highway corridor has begun in Kostanay region.The project was undertaken within the framework of the President's task and included in the Government's plans for the development of the country's transport infrastructure and transit potential.Construction work began simultaneously in two places - Arkalyk city of Kostanay region and Torgay village of Zhankeldin district. Construction is being carried out along the route "Astana - Zhanteke - Egindikol - Arkalyk - Torgai - Yrgyz". The total length of the road is 865 km.The new road corridor will directly connect the central part of the country with the western regions. At the same time, it allows Kazakhstan to join the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. Thanks to the new route, the distance between Astana and Yrgyz will be reduced by 573 kilometers. The Minister emphasized the importance of prompt resolution of the problems and set a deadline until the end of June for the stabilization of the situation and the timely development of volumes.The implemented system is designed for round-the-clock video monitoring of forest areas using modern thermal imaging and optical cameras. The cameras are placed on antenna-mast structures 30 meters high, rotate 360 ​​degrees, and with the help of artificial intelligence, signs of smoke or fire are automatically recognized in the early stages.When signs of fire are detected, the system immediately sends a signal to the emergency control center, which allows to quickly isolate and eliminate the fire source.In the future, the system will be connected to the Strategic Planning and Emergency Management Command Center of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will provide centralized monitoring of forest areas at the national level to make effective management decisions.
