Regional workshop "Increasing the capacity of basic schools - an impetus for the development of rural schools" 15.04.2026
On April 14, 2026, the East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Development of Education held a regional workshop-seminar on the topic "Enhancing the Potential of Support Schools — An Impetus for the Development of Rural Schools" within the framework of the project "Aul Mektebi — Quality Platform".The main goal of the workshop-seminar was to familiarize participants with the possibilities of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the educational process, demonstrate effective ways of their application in teaching natural science disciplines, and enhance the digital competence of teachers.The support school, KGU "Kha. Under the chairmanship of the regional prosecutor Marat Abishev, an operational meeting was held on the results of supervisory work for the 1st quarter of this year.Deputy regional prosecutors and heads of structural divisions were heard.In particular, issues of combating crime, applying legislation in the socio-economic sphere, widespread use of the project approach and the introduction of digital solutions were discussed.It was noted that in the region crime has been reduced by 9% - less drug crimes, robberies, extortion, thefts, cattle theft, fraud, hooliganism, as well as domestic offenses, street and juvenile crime.The improvement of the criminal situation is the result of the implementation of projects of the prosecutor's office «Aykin natizhe», «Kauipsiz balalyk shak» and «Aktobe — territory without fraud».  Work in the field of combating drug trafficking and fraud was also positively noted.This year, under the coordination of the prosecutor's office of the DKNB, another drug laboratory in the Almaty region was liquidated.In a criminal case investigated by special prosecutors, 7 persons were sentenced to long terms of imprisonment - organizers, accountants and operators of a drug store «Kymyz shop».In addition, the regional DER, together with the prosecutor's office, suppressed the activities of a large group of fraudsters and droppers with criminal trafficking in the amount of over 3.5 billion tenge. Separate attention is focused on anti-corruption issues.The state prosecutor achieved the conviction of the deputies of the district maslikhat, whose fraudulent scheme was revealed during the prosecutor's investigation.Also, consistently defending the principle of the inevitability of punishment, the acquittal against the ex-chief of staff of akim G. On free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member States and the Islamic Republic of Iran 15.04.2026
The Free Trade Agreement between the EEU and Iran has been in effect since May 2025. Construction, transport and manufacturing industries became the drivers of economic growth in the first quarter 15.04.2026
First Vice Minister of National Economy Azamat Amrin reported on the results of the country's development in January-March 2026 at a Government meeting. According to the data provided, real GDP growth was 3%."The peculiarity of this year is that due to the prevailing circumstances, the economy is growing without the oil sector," Azamat Amrin stressed.Growth in the real sector was 2.1%, and in the service sector – 3.7%. The construction, transport and manufacturing industries demonstrate the highest dynamics.Investments in fixed assets increased by 6.4%, amounting to 3.5 trillion tenge. At the same time, private investment increased by 20.9%. Significant capital inflows were recorded in the supply of electricity and gas (2.5 times), information communications (2 times) and agriculture (+70.6%). High investment growth is noted in Zhambyl, Turkestan, Almaty, East Kazakhstan regions, Ulytau region. The foreign trade turnover in January-February reached $21.7 billion. Exports of goods amounted to $12 billion, including exports of processed goods – $4.5 billion. Imports of goods amounted to $9.6 billion. The trade balance exceeded $2.4 billion.In the manufacturing industry, growth accelerated to 8.5%. Positive dynamics was noted in 18 regions. Azamat Amrin noted qualitative changes in the structure of the economy: the share of the manufacturing sector (12.7%) exceeds the share of the mining industry for the second year in a row.
